To begin with, on the day of our appointment, no one sent a text, called or sent an email to confirm our appointment. I'd spoken to the owner a few days earlier and he said "he" will be attending our job. He didn't.

Instead, two young men showed up about 20 minutes early (without a phone call or text.) We introduced ourselves, they were pleasant. We had one single POD to unload, I showed the men around the house, explained the furniture they were bringing in was fragile/"glass" and asked they be careful. (In my opinion, they should have worked together to bring the items in safely. Instead, next thing, I saw one of the guys coming through the front door with a fully mirrored glass dresser (front, top & sides) flipped "upside down" (mirror top laying against metal dolly). I was NOT happy. It was CLEARLY marked "GLASS", was wrapped in rugs and shrink wrap, in NO way could take being handled the way he flipped it onto his dolly and onto the floor. I still haven't unwrapped it for fear of finding it cracked (we've moved it in the past with no issues all the way from Michigan to Florida and then three additional moves, never having an issue).

When the two did work together, they were clumsy and nowhere near careful, slamming the leg of a large wing back chair onto the cement before entering the house. One of the guys was a better worker than the other, He continued working while the other one went down the street to smoke a cigarette (even though the entire job took an hour and a half).

Another incident was the two of them bringing in a mirrored nightstand. They were rushing so fast the nightstand flew off the dolly and almost crashed into the cement, fortunately, my husband was close by and helped save it. We have 3 more PODS to be delivered and unloaded, I don't feel comfortable with this firm to handle the job.

We used a similar company in Bonita Springs, Florida who was exceptional. Unfortunately, this one was not a good experience.

Let me get this straight...the movers unloaded the items WITHOUT damage and under the time frame and you are upset to the point that you leave us a 2 star review?? I spoke with you and said I would try to be on the job, in no way did I promise you I would be. You asked if I would be and I said I would try. If it was that important to you then why didn't you request that I would be, I would have at least put a note on your order. You left us a 2 star review because you feared the item in question MAY be broken but you are too afraid to look?? You wrapped them in rugs and pool noodles and you're accusing us of mishandling your items? I've definitely heard it all now. I called you and offered to come out and open the item personally and you refused and that's after we gave you a discount for complaining about our guy smoking. Our guys are specifically told not to smoke on these jobs and if they absolutely have to, to do so down the street, not on the customers property. Normally I would reprimand them for doing so on a small job like this but after dealing with you on several phone calls, prior to and after this incredibly small job-which did not warrant so many calls and requests for calls back, I can totally see where Chris was coming from. These same guys that did such a horrible job (according to you) seem to get such praise from everyone else and based off of your review, I will let the future customers make their own assessment of them. Seeing how there was no damages and they arrived early and got done early, the only thing you could find was how you felt they didnt work well together and claim he was smoking. By the way, my guys say the smoking occurred after the work was done, while Tim was collecting payment, Chris walked off and smoked. They also informed me that your husband followed them around telling them how to do the job the entire time. Hmmm. I personally love how you say "luckily your husband was there to 'help' save the item that 'almost' fell to the ground". Thank goodness for him, ma'am. Tell him we are always hiring for good supervisors. Also, after this review I requested that my lead man, Tim, show me his call log and I did confirm that he attempted to call you and did not get an answer. All I can hope for is that this review sways folks with an attitude like yours to not book us and save us the headache.

The 2 person crew that worked finishing unloading our POD were very professional, courteous, and efficient. Even though they were more than an hour late, and there was little left for them to do, they were very apologetic, and their company refunded me a portion of my payment.

We really appreciate the great review. I do want to point out that the arrival window is an hour time window yours being 2-3pm. Therfore, us arriving at 3:15, we where technically only 15 minutes late. I would also like to point out that we did attempt to reach out to you in advance (noon and again at 1:30pm) and let you know that our previously booked move ran a bit longer than expected and to expect us closer to the end of the time window, possibly even a tad past. We were unable to make contact with you via phone and text at the number provided and you all unloaded a good portion of the PODS before we arrived. Per company policy, we don't usually refund in these types of scenarios, however we did feel a bit bad that you all did so much unneeded work and decided to do so in your case.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

After booking with us you can expect a phone call from our offices just to reach out and get a feel for your unique situation. We will go over all needed supplies and firm up all the details.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Upon moving day you will receive a call from your movers within an hour of your booked arrival window. The movers will reach out just to make sure everything is still going according to plan and will give you their expected GPS arrival time. We know that nothing is more stressful than being nervous that the movers aren't gonna show up, so we like to put your mind at ease.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

If you will be hiring us to load your rental truck, trailer or portable shipping container it is imperative that you provide an adequate amount of moving blankets, plastic stretch wrap and rope to avoid serious damage to your items. The blankets can usually be rented with your truck or portable shipping container and are worth every penny. We can provide rope and plastic wrap for an additional fee or it can be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot in the moving supplies section.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have handled literally every type of move from local to long distance, from household to office/commercial. We have handled everything from medical equipment to flight simulators and we are equipped to move large items such as pianos and grand pianos.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Our favorite part about being movers is that we get to help someone with literally the hardest and most stressful task of their adult life.

What training do you provide your crew members?

All of our crew leaders are required to have a minimum of 4 years professional moving experience and upon hire, undergo at least 2 weeks of training with the owner of the company (a very particular veteran mover in the industry) before being set free to operate independently. All crew members undergo the same training and we typically only hire crew members who possess at least 2 years minimum professional moving experience. We don't send rookies, period.

Plastic wrap:
Plastic Wrap is used to band furniture blankets/pads to furnishings. Proffesional opinion would be that no smooth move can be preformed without plastic wrap or moving blankets., ($30.00/ea.)
Rope:
$10 per 50ft. Rope is needed in basically EVERY moving scenario. Failure to use rope will more than likely result in shifting of load and damages to furnishings occurring., ($10.00/ea.)
