I would definitely use Tri-County movers again. They did things that I wasn't even expecting, such as putting mats on the floor, put furniture pads on the door jams, in case they bumped them, and shrink wrapped everything. The owner was here and worked just as hard as the helpers! It was a great experience. I had read reviews of other companies, and I was quite concerned, but I worried in advance for nothing!

What nice guys!! On time, careful, quick and efficient -- I would hire again. Don't look any further -- Tri-County Movers were the best!!!!

2 guys called in sick out of four booked on the morning of the service. They found a third mover themselves and arrived 2 hours late.
When they arrived however, the job was excellent in loading two 16ft Pack Rat containers. If the four guys booked would have shown up on time my rating would change to 5 stars.

They were on time and prepared for the job. The review would be higher except they were unable to fit all the furniture into the container. The patio set I can see not fitting, there was a lot of stuff, we realized early on that it likely was not going to fit... but I think the desk would have easily fit if they had started putting the larger items in first and filling in the spaces around. Seems logical, right? When the time I had paid for was up, the desk was the only item left sitting out and I didn't want to pay for them to stick around and unload to reload and make it fit.

OK service. Did a good job repacking boxes and moving stuff from garage to office. Helpful. Carried away old boxes. But, they arrived late, and were not very handy moving Ikea beds from room to room. We hired Helpful 5 Moving company before. Those guys moved the same furniture from room to room in 1/4 of the time. Overall, I was satisfied. My wife was not.

I would definitely recommend Tri-County Movers. They were quick, efficient and prepared for packing my items on the truck. They packed everything so perfectly that not one item broke on a move from San Diego to Virginia. They were hard working and didn't stop until the truck was completely loaded. I would highly recommend them for local moves and long distance moves.

We travelled across country to move my mother and timing was everything since we had to meet several deadlines including airline flights. Our crew was a little late arriving because they had experienced a break-in of their equipment but, upon arrival, did a fantastic job protecting Mom's furniture and loading our rental truck. They never quit until the job was finished and did it with a great attitude throughout. We were very pleased and would use them again.

Tri- County movers are very friendly and make you feel like your going with the right company. On moving day though Steve the head of the movers was extremely unorganized and did not come through on assisting me on some key issues that I had planned for a week ahead of time therefore costing me an additional $60 at the end of the move which I couldn't help feel was done on purpose. The two guys that actually did the move were good but my purpose of using Tri-County Movers was that they were supposed to be experts at packing pods. I was extremely organized and tried to make the packing relatively easy. Half way through I was worried about everything fitting and asked if I needed to condense items. They continually told me it would be close but I would be OK. At the end they had me throw half of my clothes in my car that was being transported ( which was not expected) and acted surprised that I planned on taking my elliptical and couch! I would have had them pack those 1st if I knew it was going to be an issue! I actually ended up moving to a different state with NOT ONE piece of furniture to sit on in my house!!!!! I blame Steve because he was supposed to be the expert and wasn't there to direct anyone. The walk through he did with the guys was so unbelievably half done, it was no surprise that my major items didn't make the move. I WOULD NOT recommend this company if you want all your desired items to come with you when your moving afar. I gave then a four star because they were extremely friendly and the older guy that actually moved my boxes was excellent and both guys worked their tales off! They deserve other jobs but needed direction from the Steve guy who unfortunately on this job failed everyone!
