They didn’t follow directions very well, they kicked and turned my boxes upside down, knocked over a large rolling toolbox which slammed on the concrete floor, did not give a timely notice of their arrival, and blew vape in my face (which is very unhealthy for me).
I am terribly sorry to hear that your experience with Dignity Moving was anything less than excellent.
Our regular, every day procedure is to ask the customer where every item is going while it is being brought off of the truck. Did the crew not ask where your items went prior to placing them?
Our guys know better than to ever be kicking around boxes. My crew informed me that the door to the POD was extremely difficult to open, due to poor loading at origin. Is this the instance that you are referring to, in which our crew was kicking and turning over boxes? Regardless of the instance, all items should always be handled with care, and I apologize if they were not. Were there any damages to your furniture that we caused?
In regards to not receiving proper notice of our arrival; We gave you a call asking if it would be ok if we arrived early due to finishing our first job sooner than expected and were given the “Ok!”. When en route, the crew always sends a text message with their ETA. Did you receive a text message from the crew in addition to the call we made?
Our crews have been told to never smoke, or use a vape anywhere near a customer, their home, or their belongings. This crew member has been given a write up, and re-trained on proper etiquette when using his vape at work.
Again, I apologize that your experience with Dignity Moving was anything less than excellent, and we would love the opportunity to make this right and change your opinion of us. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to make this right.

We used Dignity Moving for unloading crew labor for my mother’s out of state move into a senior living facility. The crew from Dignity were very respectful of all of my mothers things, some of which were heavy. Dignity confirmed and communicated with us about the move, location times and expectations, which midigated any stress associated with the move, along with instilling a high level of confidence with our choice to use them. They arrived early, they were very prepared, they worked hard. I would defiantly recommend Dignity Movers to anyone needing quality hard working movers. I would most defiantly use them again.

They were fabulous! Arrived EXACTLY on time and were ready to work! Amazingly organized and efficient! Very carefully unwrapped and put together all of the furniture placing great care to not damage any of the walls and flooring. Finished well under the time allotted. Very rare to find this type of ethics and hard work in the industry today. A little more expensive than the competition but MORE than worth the price difference!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After booking your move with Mentors Moving & Storage, you will receive a call from one of our moving consultants to confirm the details provided by HireAHelper. During this call, we will address any questions or concerns you may have about your move. This is a great time to provide any details you may have forgotten when originally booking your move through HireAHelper.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The day of your move, you will receive a text message, to the phone number you provided, when the guys are en route to you, with an ETA. Upon arrival, the movers will accompany you for a walk through to confirm the task at hand. Before the move begins, the home is protected with door jams, a door cover, and neoprene floor runners to maximize safety. Then it is time to get to work!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for moving day is to be ready to move. Having all items small enough to fit into a box already packed into a sealed, closed-top, stack-able box prior to our arrival is a great start. You always want to leave a clear pathway for the movers to both move boxes out of the house, and be able to wrap the furniture in pads, shrink wrap, and tape prior to taking it to the truck. Always keep your kids and animals out of the way to maximize safety.

We offer local & long distance moving, professional packing services, and commercial moving. We also offer single piece deliveries, as well as moving furniture around the house!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I love to give people the best moving experience that they've ever had. A lot of people have a bad idea in their head about movers. I love to show up and completely "WOW" my clients. Moving is one of the most stressful times in a person's life, and I love being able to assist with the process, and ease their nerves!
What training do you provide your crew members?
We require each new member of our team to undergo a minimum of 8 hours of classroom style training. Once completed, the movers are put through hands-on training on professionally wrapping and moving furniture.
