I've come to expect things never go as planned when you're moving. The guys got lost (they said ) but I watched them drive right by the entrance to the storage facility i was moving my things from. I was puzzled by that. They didn't understand the paperwork apparently, sent the third guy home for the biggest part of the job which ended up costing more money to me and more time to me and thr helpers in the long run. I will add here, that i made last minute changes which likely contributed to the confusion, however when I spoke to Paul the head mover, I thought it was cleared up. I guess he still did not completely understand.

Paul is a very hard worker and was conscientious with my things and I was very appreciative of that. His counter part stated he is a long time mover, however he broke a piece off my dresser. He worked hard also but I will say not a fan of the shrink-wrap all things in place on the shelves method as I found lots of small lose things on the ground in the path they were taken to the truck. Many attempts to add feedback or help were met with resistance by the second mover, so I stopped engaging with him as much.

In the end after a long hard day the truck was loaded and the job was done. Greg was always friendly and engaged from his office and kept in touch with me through the entire time. I appreciated calming demeanor and his willingness to do whatever it took to get it done and be accurate for Hire a helper and me He made the adjustments to make sure I was charged appropriately.

The second part of the job was the most intense and it took several hours which is why the third guy should probably have been replaced in hindsight. I could have asked for it, but I didn't.

Again I want to make it clear Greg was great to work with, his guys were good. Expect some things to go sideways on move day,

Hi Tara, We appreciate the opportunity to help you with your move. We strive to give every customer, a great service. We regret, that one of the workers, was not feeling well. It was from something he ate. Hire A Helper, adjusted the payment, for the time there was only 2 crew members,So you were not actually over charged. The whole job took 5 hours, and there was only 3 workers for the first one and a half hours, which is great for only 2 movers most of the day. I was going to send a replacement for the one worker, but was told by the crew leader that they could handle finishing the job, so I did not send the replacement. There were 2 loading locations, so sometimes, it can make communication difficult to understand, since it can also be an individuals interpretation of what is communicated. We regret that there was any problem in this area. Thanks for taking the time to rate us, and give us a review. Thanks, and best wishes.

The crew chipped 3 small areas on my front door! One of the crew got sick in front of one the pods and didn’t clean it up

Hi Jon, We were not aware of the chips, on the door. I asked the crew, if they knew anything about that, and they all said no. I am sorry, to hear about the incident, of one of the crew members, getting sick, in front of the POD. It was in the street, not on your property, and one of the crew members, used a cup, with water and did their best to wash it away. We regret that you had any issues, with your move. I was on the job site, so I am aware of the move. Thanks, and best wishes. Sorry to hear about the door, but there were other people, in and out besides us, and I don't believe we actually did any damage to the home.

We’re unfamiliar with electric bed and nearly 2 hours of time were devoted to it. Otherwise good job.

The beds we do assemble, or disassemble is basic assembly, or basic disassembly. The crew was just trying to go the extra, to help you. It would not have gone down the 3 flights of stairs. Otherwise, the crew would have had to leave the bed of you to have to take apart. Unfortunately, it is a lesson learned. Sorry for the inconvenience. I was on the job, not as a worker, but for evaluation. I thought the crew did a great job. Sorry for any disappointment. Thanks

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Introductory phone call from the crew 30 minutes before arrival -A crew that arrives on-time, ready to assist on your move -Uniformed crew members -tools, door jam protector and rug runner as well as a carton dolly and a furniture dolly. Basic hand tools for basic assemble/disassemble, that may be needed to move some items. -a walkthrough of your home with the crew to discuss your goals for the move.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

-Please utilize the many years of experience of our service reps to assist with any questions you have leading up o your move -If you are loading, you will want to make sure you have all the right supplies to ensure a safe move. Our reps can help with your planning, but some of the things you might need are furniture blankets, rope, straps, mattress bags, tape and boxes Please make sure you label the side of all boxes for your new home. -If you are unloading, you might want to try to secure a packing.

With over 20+ years experience of successful moves, we have developed policies and procedures for all types of moves. Each crew member is given extensive in the office training on these policies and procedures. We also take all movers through an extensive hands-on training program in our warehouse that walks them through the proper way to pack, protect, carry, load and unload your belongings that are good for the safety of your items and all involved in the move.
