We got a wonderful two man moving crew in PA. They broke down our furniture and had our truck all loaded in 1 1/2 hours. Did a fantastic job; not one thing even shifted in the 18 hour transport.
Sadly we had the opposite experience with ECONOMY MOVERS in St Pete FLA! We had a 3 man crew and it took them 3 hours UNLOAD our furniture for our 1 BEDROOM CONDO. So not that much furniture was involved. They couldn't get our couch in and after noticing that we hadn't seen one guy in a half hour we went searching for them. That is when they informed us of the situation. We had moved multiple loads upstairs ourselves.
IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They made us late for our closing and then billed us extra over the original 2 hours that we booked. IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER TAKEN THAT LONG TO UNLOAD FURNITURE FOR A 1 BEDROOM WITH THREE OF THEM AND TWO OF US! Be aware if you book ECONOMY MOVERS!
HIRE A HELPER DID A GREAT JOB AT CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT
ECONOMY WAS TERRIBLE. JOSH, the owner, really needs to learn about what good customer service is.
