They were almost an hour late. The 1st gentleman to arrive (black gentleman with dred locks) was wonderful! He moved a lot before Justin (the 2nd mover showed up). Once they were both here things got done quickly and professionally. I would definitely use again.

We are very disappointed in our move and experience with We Haul Movers. If we could select negative stars for the rating we would.
We scheduled our move well in advance and received notification from Hire A Helper the via email the contact name and number for our movers. As the email stated, we would be contacted by Justin and that we could reach out to him as well. Our initial communication clearly stated that we would hear something from We Haul Movers with 24 hours.
When we did not hear from Justin with We Haul Movers, and we reached out to him. After multiple attempts to reach him, as well as leave a message, we did hear from him and he said he had confirmed our move date and would have movers there between 8 am to 9 am.
The day before our move scheduled move, made several attempts to reach Justin from the number which was provided. All 8 calls went to his voicemail, which was full and not accepting messages.
On the morning of 12-Oct, we got very nervous as to if we would have movers, especially since we could not each Justin, and have had no other contact with him. At 8 am, there were no movers. At 8:30 am, no movers. So we called and of course got voicemail and could not leave a message. 8:45 am, no movers. 9 am, no movers. Now please note all our correspondence informed us that our movers would be there between 8 am - 9 am.
Our movers did not show up until 9:25 am. When two guys showed up the very slowly moving items in the truck. After working for approximately 35 minutes, they proceeded to take a 20-minute break. Shortly before 11 am, they informed my husband that they had to get to another job and they could not finish moving the items. And then called the number for my husband to tell report that the job was complete. The guy literally stood over my husbands shoulder to ensure that this this done.
We are simply at a loss of words of this experience. The delay in We Haul Movers not being prompt upon they arrival, prolonged break and not completely the task that were laid for in inexcusable. This delay caused the movers scheduled for Oct 12 for the unloading in Charleston, SC to have to be rescheduled for Oct 13. In addition, we have had to incur additional expense with the truck; as well as incur hotel lodging.
We are very shocked over this service performance especially since the company had such high ratings.
Furthermore, we would like add this is response to Justin’s response about this being a scam of a move:

Justin,
First of all, I would advise you to refrain from calling what my wife put in the review a “scam”. It is far from it. Since YOU were not at the move, please allow me to enlighten you.
First. Crew was supposed to arrive between 8-9am. They arrived at 9:25. They claimed they were late because they were given “the wrong time”.
They began loading abut 9:35am. By 10:50, we were informed they had to leave by 11:15-11:25 to make a 12pm move elsewhere. I had to pay them an extra $40 dollars cash to keep them there until the 2 hour limit. They were NOT there 2 ½ hours.
When we opened up the truck, we literally had stuff falling out because the crew had jammed everything in a rush to get going. This was BEFORE we left Raleigh, so there was no shifting. By the time we loaded what was left, It was too late to make the arrival time out if state for Saturday, forcing a stopover, delay in returning truck and rescheduling if movers which was coordinated by Hire A Helper.
When we did begin unloading, the fantastic crew in Charleston discovered the Raleigh crew had jammed the couch in such a way that it took 3 of us to get it loose, which caused a rip in the armchair of the sofa. The movers in Charleston called the loading “pretty bad”.
The lead crew member told me I had to approve the move when I got the text so they could make that next move, and watched over me as I did so. I saw no way I could dispute it so I approved it so the next move wouldn’t have the same issues.
Bottom line. Your crew was late. They were more concerned about getting to the next job then properly finishing the job they were on. As I was told by the Charleston crew, they are supposed to block out 4 hours to make sure the job is complete before moving on to the next. It was made quite clear to me and my helper on the scene that “they had to get to the 12pm move on time”. I do not mean to be rude, but that is not my problem. They said this was their first job of the day, so there should have been no excuse to be late as they were. And literally cramming stuff in the truck to make that next move is unacceptable.
You can feel free to contact me if you have any more questions, but let me make myself clear. Do not call this report a scam, and do not accuse me and my family of trying to run one. You should learn to govern your comments.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Customer will receive an email verifying the date and time of move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will call when we are on our way. When we arrive, we initially do a walk-through before getting started.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
In order to best prepare for your move, have all items boxed up and ready to go. If you need beds or furniture disassembled, we do not mind doing it but the move will take less time if everything is already taken apart upon our arrival.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in local labor help. We will load and/or unload any type of truck, container, storage unit, POD, trailers, etc.

What training do you provide your crew members?
All members have to take a standard moving training course as well as on-the-job training.
