The movers were a little late (otherwise would have given 5 stars), but once they arrived they were very helpful, efficient, and professional. They finished early and made sure we didn't need any additional help with our belongings in the truck before they left. We were happy with the service and would hire them again.

Mover's response:
Thanks for the business, review, and generous tip. Sorry we got there 10 minutes late... Our guys still got the job done early though! Hope to see you again if you have any moving needs.

One guy showed up at 9:00 a.m. his name was Mike, he was absolutely fantastic that man got right to work and started unloading that truck all by himself. After about 20 or 30 minutes my 82-year-old aunt and my wife felt bad for him because the second guy was nowhere to be found, so they helped Mike unload the truck. Around 10:00 maybe a few minutes after the second gentleman showed up. He worked until 10:45 when the job was finished. So I paid $442 for one guy at an hour and 45 minutes, one guy for 45 minutes, and my wife and 82-year-old dance for an hour and 45 minutes. I'm sorry my mistake 44291 did not pay my wife and my 82-year-old aunt. I'm so dissatisfied with the service I received I almost want to challenge the charge with my bank because I was totally ripped off. Hire a helper did me good in Atlanta, but they did not do me good in Michigan. The whole purpose of being hiring Movers was so my 82-year-old aunt and my wife didn't have to unload a truck, but it appears that they did end up unloading the truck. You can certainly verify all of this information with Mike. I've gave him a reasonable tip, but it should have been a lot more. I can assure you we will not be using this company ever again. Mike was very efficient and may very well be the best employee working for you. He was more than courteous considering his boss kept telling him that the guy was on the way when more than likely at that time we were talking to his boss the guy was definitely not on his way. I was told by hire a helper that I have no basis to complain because I chose between 9:00 and 10:00 for these gentlemen to show up, and technically the second guy showed up at 10:00, so I definitely see where hire a helper would not consider this a lack of service, but at least in my opinion it's no way to conduct business

Mover's response:
Your order did have a 9 to 10 arrival. They were both there by 10 and the job was completed in the 2 hour time frame. Granted, it would have been more efficient if they both got there at the same time, but the two movers couldn't coordinate due to the Verizon blackout over Michigan. Hopefully you will understand and adjust this review. 2 stars is awfully harsh for completing a job in the time frame requested with no damage to any of your items. We could have just waited until both workers were on site, but Michael decided to get a jump on it to get the job done sooner for you. My employee took it upon himself to give great service, and you post a negative review. I'm a little confused why you feel slighted...

The movers we had were both very nice and polite. Very pleasant to speak to. They worked hard to get the job completed and never complained. It was miserable outside. Very warm and the humidity was almost unbearable. In spite of their discomfort due to the weather they only took a few minutes to rehydrate themselves and went right back to work. I would hire those two without hesitation.

Mover's response:
Thank you for the 5 star review. It was H O T! Staying hydrated on those kind of days is the key! Thank you for the businesss!

They worked really hard. I had planned to leave a 5 star review until i noticed they knocked paint off the walls at the stairs and also loosened the stair post. Otherwise everything went fine.

Mover's response:
Yep the u shaped staircase was a tight squeeze. Give us a call to come by. We'll get a paint chip sample and get a paint match to touch it up for you.

THE GOOD: They texted they were on their way and were on time. The four men were friendly and polite. They took apart a bed from one room and moved it to another.

THE BAD: They apparently "hot boxed" on the way to our home. They smelled strongly of marijuana. I don't care if you smoke, but when you're working and handling other people's cargo it's probably not a good idea. They scuffed up a couple of walls that I'll need to touch up with paint. We notified the company prior to our move that we had a gun safe and it was listed on the invoice. The four men decided it was too heavy and wouldn't remove it from the trailer. The transport company was picking up the trailer, and We Move It left my $3,000 safe on the trailer. I (58 year old woman) and a 55 year old man were able to move the safe off the truck without a dolly or any special tools. (The workers (four men) said the safe was too heavy and if they got hurt moving the safe they wouldn't be covered by insurance...I guess smoking weed isn't dangerous to your safety when working). I would not recommend this company. They left us in an awful position and didn't care....just drove away.

Mover's response:
Absolutely false, no marijuana use by any of our employees! Furthermore, your safe was 500 lbs, we charge extra for these items. You stated the safe was only 300 lbs prior to us arriving there. Then you tried to bribe the workers to move the safe for 200.00 on the side instead of paying the fee to move such items (which is more than 200.00) This is a case of a disgruntled customer who wanted something for free and didn't get it. The person who wrote this post wasn't even at the location. We went so far as to contact safe companies in the area to provide a fork lift service but they didn't want to pay the cost to move it. The safe was loaded with a fork lift, and was bolted to a pallet which was broken. No way somebody just put it on a dolly and wheeled it down a semi ramp, let alone move it off the truck with no dolly. Hopefully common sense will allow folks who read this to see who is being honest and who is being dishonest here. Not happy about the dishonesty with this customer! By the way, the workers left after everything was loaded into your home except for the unpaid for, oversized item. We have pictures of everything so if future customers have any concerns, please let us know so we can show you the proof!

Guys were on time and very friendly. All our stuff was moved in safely, but there were a number of scuffs on the walls and a few spots where the drywall was damaged. They would be great for smaller moving jobs without larger pieces of furniture.

Mover's response:
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and for the generous tip. If you could just take some pics and send them our way, we will be happy to touch up any drywall scuffs for you. It happens to the best of us sometimes when tight spaces and large pieces are involved.
