Cornerstone was unreliable. They were late by 1 hr and 40 minutes. The owner worked for 20-30 minutes and was then dealing with the police on some issue. He then left with the police never to return leaving me with the worker he starred with. He brought in what appeared to be two teenagers who did not know what they were doing. I ended up doing over 75% of the move myself. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Showed up over an hour late. 1 of the helpers never showed. They left their trash in my house and yard. They were very disorganized and I had to constantly tell them what to do to keep them working.
One was on his phone for half the time they were there. I had to ask them to get off my couch and not to smoke while sitting on my couch. 2 got in an argument in my garage at the end. It was the worst decision I made to hire them.

They didn’t bring the proper equipment to complete the job. They said they would leave to go get the equipment and didn’t come back for 8 hours. I texted and.called to check on their eta. He kept saying 10 minutes away or 20 minutes away. It would be another hour before I texted again and he would give another excuse and false time of eta. Pieces of furniture were not packed properly and lost in the move. The truck was packed improperly and cost me an extra $1000. When I complaining to him, he said “God doesn’t like ugly” and refused to discount or reimburse me for the $2000 extra dollars his services cost me in the move.

Never Showed Up! He kept texting he would arrive 15-40 minutes later. He kept repeating he was on his way each hour we waited. He was scheduled to arrive between 3-4pm and after 7:15pm we called the office to reschedule for the next day. I waited for over 4 hours and he never showed up. His dishonest communication cost us the day. I hope his replacement arrives on Sunday to help us unload the container. FYI the office closed at 7:30pm so we are grateful they were able to find someone for Sunday morning.

The Cornerstone Movers did a good job. Richard and his assistant were courteous, careful and very hard working. I would definitely use them again for an in house move.

Save yourself the headache. First they showed up on the wrong day, then on the actual day they were supposed to show up, asked to move 4 hours early. Then after going out of my way to do that, the company purposely reported the wrong amount of work time to Hire-A-Helper. After the workers barely worked an hour, Cornerstone said they worked for three.
The ONLY reason I gave this company two stars was because the actual movers were very kind, however the organization is terrible. Just don't do it.
