Our movers; Joe and Barry were amazing! They got here right on time and were ready to work! They also finished within the time reserved even though we ran into a little dilemma. I appreciate their professional work ethics and how well they got along with not only us but with each other...they had great team work, stratogically loaded our truck and were gentle with our belongings. The 2 guys who moved me were on time, courteous, and really worked hard! They had 3 flights to climb on a hot day but kept at it! I felt terrible for them with it being so hot - there were a few times sweat spots were on my stuff - but I got over it - maybe I should've offered towels! I would recommend them! And Carla was great to interact with in setting it up - responded promptly to texts and emails and was very helpful! I would use C&C again!

I hired C&C Moving to load up a 26' moving truck with items from a 1900 sqft home.
First, the good:
-They showed up on time
-They were very friendly and for the most-part professional
The bad:
-Once they thought they were done, I did a walk-through of my house and discovered they had not packed up half of one of the rooms. That led to a brief moment of panic on all parties and they had to do some reshuffling.
The really bad:
-Once I reached my destination 1500 miles away, I had another HireAHelper moving company unload the truck. We opened up the cargo door to see a lot of items had shifted. As these movers started to unload items, it was apparent that the C&C movers failed to properly tie/secure items. Also, they didn't properly use the 20 furniture pads* I supplied them with. They also placed solid wood furniture next to metal items. The unloaders commented that they had never seen such a poor packing job...
-The result: THOUSANDS of dollars worth of damage to some very nice pieces of furniture.
*I asked them half-way if they wanted more pads and they declined.
The resolution:
-The owner of C&C (Carla) was not helpful, deflected any blame, and even lied in an email correspondence.
-HireAHelper will provide me with some monetary compensation through insurance. It won't cover all the damage, but I really appreciate HireAHelper's responsiveness.
Long-story short:
-Use HireAHelper, but not C&C Moving.

These movers were excellent. Our apartment was not ready when we arrived in San Antonio from Houston , and these movers were very patient and flexible with our situation. They even managed to cheer me up during this very stressful move. Aside from being flexible and friendly, these guys were professional and careful with all of our things. They were on time, and moved quickly. I will be calling this company again for our next move.

These are the best movers I have ever used. I have done several local moves and several cross country moves in the past 10 years (4 involving San Antonio). This was the first time that I uses C and C and I was very impressed. If your move involves loading or unloading in San Antonio, these are the best in the business! They were quick and very professional. They loaded the truck, padded the furniture and tied it all off. If I have to move again in San Antonio, I will only be contacting C and C.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Movers will arrive 10 minutes prior, do a walk-through, and get right to work. No slackers here. We value our customers time.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customer should be ready upon our arrival, everything boxed. If we are loading, Customer should have tie-downs, so, that we can secure everything into their trucks and nothing shifts while it’s being driven. This prevents damage.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled local, residential, commercial, and long distance moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part of moving is getting to know our customers and meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We are huge on customer service. We have thorough training on loading and unloading. We packed a very tight truck, that even a car key cannot fit between the boxes. The worst thing is for our customers to have to leave something behind.
