Ken is a master at packing a pod and did a great job under very adverse circumstances

Great team! Did a great job and I would highly recommend them. We had several pieces of furniture to move in the house and they were careful and considerate.

These guys were okay.
They arrived 45mins late, but they called me to tell me they were running late.
When they arrived, they brought an extra person along. I only expected 2 movers and told them it didn't seem fair to have to pay for 3 movers just because they tagged along. So instead, I just gave them a big tip.
When the main guy decided it was time to start the clock, the two other people started moving boxes, especially the ones marked "Fragile". They put them all in the first row of the moving truck making me nervous. I said shouldn't you guys be getting the heavy stuff like the fridge and washer/dryer? They said they were getting those next.
After what seemed like 20 minutes, I finally got done with the paperwork with the main guy and he began to help moving. I'm paying $160/hr and the main guy isn't even calling the shots 20 minutes into it?
I was really worried about my fragile items. They kept loading boxes so about 10mins later I asked if it was time to load the fridge. They they finally started measuring the fridge, and the front door that I had already removed prior to their arrival. After getting the fridge loaded, I asked about the washer and dryer. They said those would go on after the rest of the house was loaded and would go before the stuff in the garage.
Then main guy would pause to ask me how I thought their were doing. I said I thought they were doing okay, but I sure wished the heavy stuff would have been taken first.
After an hour, the movers took a 10min break and to re-organize their plan.
When they got back from their break, they proceeded to load the truck. But I also noticed times when they would spend time wrapping up items instead of taking boxes that have already been sealed ready to load. This happened a lot. Maybe it was their way to slow down and catch a breather. But since I was paying them $160/hr for 2hrs, I expected them to work hard.
For this labor rate, I expected them to know that heavier items should be loaded first. That they would work hard. They they should focus on items already sealed and ready to go.
When I got a text alerting me that my 2 hr limit was approaching and I should discuss with the movers how much more time, if any, that I needed. They seemed enamored by playing Tetris with my moving items in the truck. They sure spend enough time trying to figure out the best way to cram as much stuff into a small space. I told them they should wrap it up and that I would take care of the rest. They kept saying just a few more things and they would be at a good stopping point.
As it ended up, they went over by 15mins, which I ended up paying for. I wasn't happy about it, but I payed what I owed them, gave them a large tip, and told them to call it a day.
I don't think Kush Movers was well represented that day.
About 30mins later, the main guy called me asking me specifics of if I agreed to the 3rd Mover and wanted to charge me an additional fee. I wasn't thrilled about the experience, but I was glad that I didn't do all that heavy lifting that day.
