I hired two movers for two hours. They on time & really nice guys, but one was new and it was apparent that he had no moving experience at all. My boyfriend who is 6ā5 was there, and had to help lift my oversized dresser because the second hired guy could not do it. If my boyfriend would not have been there, Iām not sure how it would have been accomplished.
Additionally, the $2000 dresser was broken by one of the movers who kneed a piece back into place when it came apart while moving it. This caused it to split apart at the top. This was unnecessary damage directly caused by the hired mover. The way that the dresser was packed in the truck was also very unstable. Half the dresser is fine and intact but the other half is split at the top corner and I do not think it is repairable.

My movers were on time, very respectful. I could tell they were experts as they offered suggestions when appropriate. They were very careful with my items, they packed my truck perfectly and did so expeditiously. I would recommend them again and again!
