I booked this company on the strength of the reviews I read here. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to what I'd read. First, they never called to confirm the job (I had to call them to do that). Second, they didn't call to tell me they'd be over an hour late on the day of the job (I called numerous times to get a status update, by none of my calls were answered). Third, they didn't bring the equipment they said they'd bring (hand tools, furniture dollies), so they couldn't help me assemble the kitchen table, beds, etc. My toolbox eventually came off the truck, so they did end up helping with a couple of pieces. Fourth, they didn't walk through the house to get an idea of where things would go before they started unpacking, leading to lots of confusion later. Finally, aside from Vernon, their attitudes were bad from the moment they showed up...almost like they were mad at my wife and I for having as much stuff as we had (we were very clear about the amount of stuff we had in the job description and booked them up front for 6 house). David, in particular, was a bad apple the whole day, audibly sighing when the things he carried required a trip upstairs and carrying items with no regard for wall damage, etc. (On the flip side, Vernon was a pleasure to work with.) As a military brat, and then a member of the military myself, I've dealt with a lot of movers in my life. This may have been the worst experience I've had, and that's especially disappointing considering all of the positive reviews I've read on this site. I would not recommend this company to others.

Vernon and his team were awesome. They worked very quickly and efficiently. I paid for three men for four hours. However, the first move of the day ran over and they arrived at my house a little behind schedule. Vernon apologized and brought himself and another man at no extra charge. They moved my entire home contents down the road to my new home in under two and a half hours. They blew my mind. They took great care not to damage anything. These guys are all business. They do not play, and they all had a great attitude. I highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.

Pack and Go moving did a decent job they didn’t go out of their way but they did follow my directions. My only complaint is they accidentally scuffed my new hardwood floors but they did try to buff the scuff out.
