Great communication. Arrived on time and finished unloading 2 large U-hauls and assembling the beds in 3 hours. Would highly recommend.

They destroyed my TV and they destroyed the front door of my new residence nobody would listen to me as far as where things went. They put tools in my master bedroom that belong in the garage and left my bedsheets in the garage that went upstairs. When I went out to get a vent duct for the dryer they ran away so there was no final inspection. Very poor service and very disrespectful Movers they would just laugh at me because Iām an old man with COPD. Worst experience of my life and worst service of my life.
Another problem was they showed up 2 1/2 hours early so I was not done packing and it was chaos from then on. I miss my refrigerator delivery because of this.
Their part cost me about $1000 for four hours worth of work.

The movers didnāt transport any televisions as instructed by you. Your front door was already off the hinges before they started your move.
The guys waited an extra hour and a half for you after they stopped your time so you wouldnāt be charged for it, but after realizing you had shut your phone off and wasnāt responding to any of their previous messages they called in to get approval to leave.
I called HireAHelper to get them to see if they could contact you, also before I instructed them to leave.
We called you ahead of time to make sure it was ok to come earlier than originally scheduled and you okayed it.
Iām really sorry your having health issues, but making false claims against your crew isnāt the right thing to do.

The movers (Bryan and Keon) were okay. There was an owner (Tyrone Morris) billing issue that never should have happened though. The base rate we paid for through Hire-A-Helper was 4 hours, plus 45 minutes drive time between our home moved from and our home moved into. The move (including driving) took 5 hours and 30 minutes.
At the end of the move, the driver was confused and tried to add 1.5 hours on the move, though 4.75 had been paid for (so we only owed for 0.75 hour more).
He was nice, and not in charge of billing, so we delayed payment for a short while and wrote the owner to make sure that he was not confused and would be sure to pay the guys for the 5.5 hours worked.
We waited hours and received no response from the owner. We then paid the invoice in full, for the 5.5 hours.
Later that day, the owner submitted to Hire-A-Helper that 1.5 hours more was worked. It is difficult to see this as an accident or owner confusion.
It took half a day to get this fixed with Hire-A-Helper, because a second department needed to review the billing history. The billing department quickly refunded the 1.5 hours we had already paid for, was lovely on the phone, and apologized for not having caught the problem before our card was charged for the 1.5 hour overcharge.
We recommend the two guys who did the move, but recommend caution in submitting payment, so you are not paying twice for driving time.
I donāt handle ANY of the billing everything had to be handled through HireAHelper. Iām not sure why you gave such a low score when I wasnāt able to adjust anything with your billing and the score you gave affects the movers you had on your job. There was no confusion on my part nor did you reach out to me to fix anything. The time you requested is preprinted once it comes to me and I have no ability to change it, once itās submitted HireAHelper has the ability to change it not me.
