They were on time. All 4 employees worked hard the entire time. They were very prepared for the job! They listened to what I said, and made those discussions a priority. They were very careful with my property, and yes I would definitely use them again. The most important thing is that they calmly handled my requests with no attitude! I am very pleased. I hired Morris Moving to help my daughter and son-in-law move their things from a three story apartment, which has no elevator, to a personal enclosed trailer. They simply needed the extra muscle and man power to tackle the big stuff down three flights of stairs. This turned out to be the best investment of 2021.
Everything was flawless, professional and exactly as stated. I requested a quote just days before the move and received an answer, with availability, almost immediately. Upon booking online, I called to verify as I was not going to be in town for the move and I needed assurance I had hired the right men for the job. The call was answered and after speaking to them, I knew they were going to be in good hands.
The two movers were expected at 8am and called me about 7:40 to say they were at the gate. We made arrangements to let them in and they got rolling.
Here are the comments from my son-in-law who was there to greet them:
They were friendly, didn’t complain when they realized there wasn’t an elevator, efficient, brought shrink wrap, and had a great pace. They took directions very well and we’re such softies for Joonie (our dog). She made 2 grown men fall to their knees. They brought dollies and furniture dollies even though they couldn’t really be used at our apartment considering the stairs. They had great communication between the two of them and were done in UNDER the two hour timeframe. We couldn’t be more pleased with the service from Morris Moving and will recommend them to our friends!

Very disappointed and feel taken advantage of. I hired from “Hired help “ Morris Moving to help unload my Pack rat Pod on 4/13. I got a call in the morning of to tell me they were moving later in day due to rain. It was a sunny day, but ok. No communication though with “Hire helpers” so they took entire amount and texted me and called me to ask how move was going. I informed them that movers hadn’t showed. A few minutes later I get a call from Morris Movers, rudely asking why I called “the helpers”. They were good once they started, being careful with my things. I had started on emptying the pod myself since I had 3 hours... the crew worked a total of 1 and get paid for 2 hours. There has to be some recourse??? But it seems there is not.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Try to make sure boxes are sealed and ready to be moved, if there are any items not to be moved please make sure they are marked.

We handle all types of moves, from local, long distance, residential and commercial.

What training do you provide your crew members?
Our Movers are sent out with veteran movers with over 5 years experience to learn the ropes, the do's and don'ts of moving.
