Very good communication and scheduling to address any potential changes, which is essential since moving company are always not punctual, so the unpacking time may vary.

Liars! requested packing and moving. Even spoke with Ana about supplies, then they sent movers that didn’t know how to pack. When I called I was told I hadn’t requested packing…. really??? Confirmed with them 2-3 times the same week of my move. wasted my time and money
Our crew packed a majority of your apartment, even though you only booked 2 hours for packing and loading a container. If you book services you have to be realistic with your expectations, and there was only one item our crew has concerns about how to pack. Our advice to you is next time you book services please allow more than 2 hours for packing a complete apartment and moving your items out of a high rise unit.

Josh and Trent were wonderful! Super hard working and knowledgeable on how to load a truck I provided. Almost got all I need in one load and even loaded a table in their own company vehicle so I could have it in my new home the next day. After my first hire a helper was canceled 4 days before my move, they found me these guys at a lower rate but later in the day than I needed. This was the third move of the day for Josh and Trent in this heat wave. When the previous clients kept them late, Josh was johnny on the spot keeping informed on their arrival time. On the hottest day of the year or heck maybe a record hot day, you couldn't tell it affected them. We got everything moved with in 3.5 hours from my 3 hour reservation. Overall above and beyond hardest working movers. They helped make my move as quick a possible on this hotter than heck day! I was very happy with their services! Many thanks go out to these guys!

I worked with a different crew in DC. They both worked together and efficiently- moved so fast. They were done in 2.75 hours (we worked with two different locations- one at storage unit and one at my previous residence). Communication was great! Now with this crew in Houston, not everything was completed within 2 hours and I didn't want to pay extra. Ryan was great and worked hard but the other guy was so exhausted and overheated. It made me wonder about Morris Moving's ability to take care of its employees- they didn't have water- we had to give them ours. Do they get breaks so they can be refreshed for the next move? Communication was a major issue. When they arrived, I explained where things should go (I gave them the tour)- what each room represented. But they moved stuff into the wrong rooms. I had to correct them and found some errors as I unpacked. The point of having movers is to make my life easier. My friend also had to help them out. He was exhausted from driving us across the country and had to help Ryan out because the second guy was too exhausted. I am very wary about working with Morris for my future moves.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Try to make sure boxes are sealed and ready to be moved, if there are any items not to be moved please make sure they are marked.

Our Movers are sent out with veteran movers with over 5 years experience to learn the ropes, the do's and don'ts of moving.
