Movers were scheduled to be at my house between 8-9am to load a pod. At 10 I texted to find out where they were. The dispatcher/mgr said they got their afternoon job first. He sent out a 2nd crew, which got to the house at 11. One of them had his pants falling down past his ass, not a good look. They did load fairly quickly, but they left my mattress last for some unknown reason. I had hired for 2 hours and they took 3, partly because I had them tie stuff down (I had to supply straps because they didn't bring rope, apparently you need to request this), and partly due to me having them reposition stuff. They had a Tempurpedic mattress on bare metal that would have torn the mattress up, and had a heavy box crushing a box clearly marked fraglie. I still had to redo stuff when they left. They also left stuff behind in the house I had to add. When I contacted the mgr about the job they did, he showed me the pics they had taken. The pics were clearly taken before they were completed. I took pics of my own and sent them to him. He had no response. I was less than impressed with them.

Mover's response:
Kevin I have photos of how your container was loaded, and compensated you for the timing of the arrival. The photos were taken from start to finish and the guys showed you the work before they left and you have it your approval before they departed. So slandering them after you gave the load your approval isn’t based off the work quality and it’s more of a discriminatory issue. Hired 3 helpers to help move out of a moving truck faster. Had to tell them more than once that they all had to work and how to unload and stack boxes. After the end of a longer than should have been day I noticed my new large screen TV screen was very scratched. I tried contacting the company and no one called back. Someone texted and said it was a service for them. So after paying more than I felt I should have and a broken new 65 inch TV I'm out a lot of money. I've used hire a helper before with success but now I wonder if I will ever come back. Better to pay more for better help.

Mover's response:
Melissa the movers unloaded a truck for you that was improperly loaded. They unloaded a television that was loaded into a truck without any protection or padding on it. You paid for 4 hours for 3 guys to unload a full truck in two separate locations and contacted me by text a week later wanting to claim a Tv that was broken by whoever loaded the truck. Though we appreciate your business I would decline a new order for you. I will be forwarding your messages to hire a helper. Thank You!!

The movers were on time, courteous, prepared and worked very hard. Two of the men were professional movers who were experienced and hard working. The third mover was a ‘day laborer’ that was picked up that morning at a gas station while pan handling for change. This was after I had spoken with Tyrone Morris of Morris Moving and Storage, and he assured me they would not bring any day labor. The day after the move, we realized some 3-D glasses were missing from our home theater room, and we believe the day laborer took them. We would not use them again.

The two young men were polite but worked at the speed of light, finishing the two-hour scheduled move in one hour. I felt rushed as they quickly asked where items were to be placed at rapid-fire speed. They were somewhat careless, moving very heavy items alone, not as a team, causing minor scuffs to floor. Finally. after they left, I discovered a door broken off a storage cabinet; also, my queen-sized mattress was not delivered. Since I know that it was in the pod when it left my former location and it was locked by my combo lock, where did they put my mattress? I would not recommend this company and I would not use them again.

not very professional. they were on time but were not fully prepared for the job. they didn't have all the tools needed to do the job safely and they did damage to my personnel belongings

When orders are booked you have the option of us bringing pads, tools, shrink wrap and Everything necessary to do the job correctly. You didn’t request any of the items so the crew didn’t bring them.

They were on time and VERY fast but careful when handling the items. We unloaded a 2BR/2B in under 2 hours with just a team of 2 paid movers and my husband. I could not recommend hiring them enough. It made a very stressful situation much better. We are moving in another year and WILL be hiring them.

Our movers arrive and ask for a quick walkthrough of the property, and at this time you should express any concerns you have or special request you may have.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Try to make sure boxes are sealed and ready to be moved, if there are any items not to be moved please make sure they are marked.

We handle all types of moves, from local, long distance, residential and commercial.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

We enjoy the diversity of clientele we see on a daily basis. We love hearing our customers stories and memories of the previous home and plans for their new home.

What training do you provide your crew members?

Our Movers are sent out with veteran movers with over 5 years experience to learn the ropes, the do's and don'ts of moving.
