I moved from Pennsylvania to Winston-Salem, I drove down by myself and needed some help with several large, heavy pieces of furniture. The day prior to driving down I ran into circumstances that required me to postpone my move by a day. Ted re-scheduled with no problem. Ted and his helper (Dave, I believe) arrived several minutes early, which was great, they moved quickly and efficiently. Initially I thought they might have to remove the bannister or a door to fit the furniture because it is heavy and the angles seemed awkward, they accomplished it with ease and did not have to remove either.
Moving is stressful and there are always surprises along the way, do yourself a favor and hire Ted Okeefe, I am grateful that I did, I strongly recommend him.

We hired Ted to move our furniture into a two story townhome with pretty narrow stairs that have two turns. It had rained hard the night before so everything outside was still very wet. Ted and Dave arrived a few minutes early. They put blankets down outside the front door, so their shoes wouldn’t be wet or muddy when they brought stuff inside. They were very careful not to ding the furniture or walls as they carried our furniture in and up the steps. They worked diligently and finished well within two hours. We would definitely use Ted for another move.

Moving is stressful, but Ted and his partner were great to work with! He contacted me immediately after booking. He reconfirmed the day before and day of. I had a huge delay with the POD delivery, he was really easy to work with and very accommodating.
He and his partner worked quickly and efficiently. I was amazed how quickly they got everything done and how efficiently they packed the POD. They got nearly 2x what POD told me I could fit into it. I’ll save money, reducing the size of the second one because they were so efficient.
I am a single woman and I might have felt uncomfortable with two strangers. Both were super polite and business like. I felt completely at ease.
