The guys were gentleman throughout the process (which changed later) but they do not know how to pack a POD efficiently or effectively. They showed up without a dolly (they used mine without asking despite that it had two flat tires), looked disheveled with sagging pants below the belt, and had a small child and an adult waiting in their car. I looked past their attire with the hope the rest of the experience would be professional. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Half way through I pointed out way too many spaces in their packing where boxes could be stacked and fit tightly and that too much would shift when the POD was moved. Furthermore, they moved my washer down a flight of stairs on my dolly with two flat tires and it slammed down each step. They dropped a box of holiday items without apologizing or letting me know (I found more ornaments under my stairs outside). In the end, they did not finish in the 2 hours allotted nor did they fit everything in the POD. They took a total of 4 hours and had to leave for another job with items sitting in my garage. However, prior to leaving they were sure to wait around asking for a tip and then called me about 30 minutes later asking again for a tip. Had I not had damaged furniture, some that was clearly dragged across asphalt (pictures to prove), and learned later they claimed statements that never were made and events that never happened, I would have provided a tip. Most importantly, I have damaged furniture and had to have a hitch installed to rent a small trailer to move the remaining items they could have fit on the POD had they packed it correctly.

The young men came in and assessed what I had to move and told me up front that he didn't think the POD would hold everything and I told him to do the best he could. Most of the things in my garage were not packed as well as they should have been but they did a wonderful job of making it work. They were courteous and very polite and worked together as a team. They went above and beyond what was required. I would recommend them to anyone.

Showed up about 45 minutes late for scheduled appointment. I hired two helpers for two hours. The job took them one hour, which is fine, but they were rushing which caused damage to my residence. They dragged a dresser on my brand new hardwood floors after I suggested they use a hand truck. As a result, they put about an 8 inch scratch in the floors at the base of my stairs. I asked them not to drag it anymore due to it scratching the floors and handed them a blanket. They got the dresser to The top of the stairs, then proceeded to drag it again, which caused now about a foot and a half inch gouge in my hardwood floors. Additionally, they carried a red leather sofa up the stairs and once in the hallway, they rubbed it against the wall so hard that it left a 14 inch red streak that I cannot get out. The movers were very nice, polite, and respectful, but the one suggested that I go by a magic eraser for the streak and that he’ll let his boss know that he scratched my floors. I called the company and they said they will give me $150 off or I can submit a claim with hire a helper which I did since the repair is going to be way more than $150.
We are sorry that any damage was done to your home. When using our service you have insurance provided to you. We have to pay that deductible so we offered you that in cash otherwise our insurance will cover your damage. additionally, we were not late. Porch moving group as well as gold medal moving supply a 1-hour window for arrival. Thank you for your review and again sorry for any damage. We will try to work harder to prevent things from happening like this.
