Relocation with Helpful Movers
After 7 years in business, our goal at Helpful Movers has always been to make your move as stress free as it can be, all of our crews are courteous, polite, and helpful with anything needing to be done. We always treat your items with the utmost care just like they were our own. We disassemble/reassemble furniture except reassembly of cribs and bunkbeds due to safety. We cover anywhere from Seattle to Olympia to Bremerton. We offer out of state moves and we can also supply a company truck for in state moves if needed, please call for pricing. They arrived separately and late. They were not there to work hard at all. They had no equipment with them except for a dolly and a small almost empty roll of Saran Wrap which they never used. They were extremely disrespectful of property and laid my bike on top of my couch, leaving permanent grease stains on it. They slid all my belongings on the ground without thought to dirt. And they were just bad at packing things into the container I used and I had to re-do almost all of it. I can easily say these were the worst movers ever and I’ll never recommend them to anyone.

We were so pleased with the job that the two movers did with moving our household and furniture into storage for us. They were exactly on time, knew what they were doing; nothing was damaged, and were very professional. They had our items placed into the storage unit beautifully with room to spare! I wish all movers were so conscientious! Thank you to both of them and hireahelper for great customer service. I hope when we do eventually find our new home (sadly not in Washington) that we find a moving service equally as good. Thanks again!

They did an excellent job with all of our possessions. They were very careful with everything. We had the same guys for taking her furniture into the pod and putting it back into our house after the floors were redone. They were great about remembering where all our stuff went.

Jared, Justin, Urshkin, & James were fantastic! Hard working and lighthearted, with endless politeness. They showed great care and attention to detail. They were willing to adapt to the time constraints by moving on to some of the heaviest items at the very end. We couldn't have asked for a better crew! We just wish we had scheduled more time.

Helpful Movers did an excellent job loading our stuff into the Pod. Jamal and the crew were efficient, professional, and took great care to not damage any of our stuff or our house as they loaded everything. When the crew arrived, the Pod truck driver told us "you're gonna love these guys, they are super good" and I 100% agree.
If I need moving services in the Seattle area I'll reach out to them again and I would recommend them to all of my friends.

They were on time and they were pleasant. I hired 3 people for 5 hours and it turned out they were finished in less than 2 1/2 hours.
I would not recommend them to anyone. Obviously, they had plenty of time to do this job right. Instead of wrapping my furniture with blankets (which I supplied plenty of), except for one piece, they put the furniture into the POD without any wrapping, using folded up blankets between furniture and boxes and no shrink wrap whatsoever. In several instances, they didn't even use blankets, which caused furniture pieces to rub together resulting in damage to several. In one instance, there was not a blanket in the vicinity, but they used a rope around a cherished family piece, which caused the trim piece to splinter off. Completely bad. In the end, I returned 12 blankets to the store that they said they didn't need. If they'd done it right, they would have used all the blankets.
One further thing. I had eight wardrobes. They did not strap the tops, but did stack heavy boxes on top of each wardrobe, which caused them to crush. After a month in storage, none of the clothing was ruined, but it was so wrinkled that depending on the piece, a dry cleaning press will be needed to make these garments wearable. The service I hired at my destination to unload my POD were appalled at what they saw. I was very disappointed.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will give you a call as soon as possible to get all of the details for your move confirmed and also go through your move with you to discuss any additional information that may happen for your move. Also we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Once we arrive onsite we will do a brief walk through and then we will get started by prepping any furniture for loading and proceed to loading your Pod, Truck or Trailer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for your move is always organization, having walkways cleared for the movers so as not to trip over anything. If we are unloading a great time saver is to take post it notes label each room #1,#2 etc then as we are bring boxes in you can say that goes to room # this makes it much easier for you and saves you time and money!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled every move there is, we do in-state, residential, commercial, industrial, out of state, in home, remodels, we also do staging as well!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
By far we love doing everything we can to take the stress out of your move, we know moving is a very stressful thing to do, so we want to do everything we can to make whatever part we are taking in it to be stress free.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our employees go through training on jobs as an extra crew member to learn everything they need to know before being sent out. It is imperative that they learn how to handle your belongings properly before they are put on as a full time member of our company.
