After 7 years in business, our goal at Helpful Movers has always been to make your move as stress free as it can be, all of our crews are courteous, polite, and helpful with anything needing to be done. We always treat your items with the utmost care just like they were our own. We disassemble/reassemble furniture except reassembly of cribs and bunkbeds due to safety. We cover anywhere from Seattle to Olympia to Bremerton. We offer out of state moves and we can also supply a company truck for in state moves if needed, please call for pricing. I had to change apartments in my current building and needed help moving my belongings up three flights of stairs (my building doesn't have an elevator). Two gentlemen showed up early and worked very hard to get my belongings moved up the stairs. They worked very efficiently and didn't take breaks, despite needing to go up and down the stairs multiple times. They did a fantastic job. I'd hire them again.

Craig and Daniel (I'm pretty sure those were the names, if not, sorry guys!) did an amazing job unloading my U-Haul U-Box. I was unsure when the box would be dropped off, but they arrived shortly after I let them know it was here, which was great! The two of them unloaded tons of furniture and heavy boxes into my apartment in record time. They were very polite and put everything exactly where I asked (and asked me if I hadn't told them yet). They didn't damage anything while unloading or moving it up two flights of stairs. Would definitely recommend to a friend or hire again in the future. Thank you so much!

Jared and Gus were fantastic: kind, helpful, funny, energetic, strong and willing to help in any and all ways. Couldn’t have asked for better guys to help us move. I can’t recommend them more and would hire them any time we needed them. Thank you for all your help!!

The two young men worked quite efficiently and carefully. They paid attention to detail. I wish i had hired them for my entire move rather than for help with a few very heavy or final items.

We used these guys a few times as our house was flooded.

The first group of guys three of them worked their tail off. I had that crew twice… they were great. The second time A different crew showed up... This guy claimed to be there top mover.... Which all he did is complain and whine about how he had to move the stuff and where and how it had to be moved. We had to move items into the pod and out of one pod in and out of the house. he was whining about it and ended up calling his boss and complaining to them. Last I checked the title of this is “hire- a-helper” Who cares if you’re moving stuff around it all pays the same whether you’re moving it out of the house and into a storage unit or if you’re moving stuff around. Apparently this guy did. I ended up having to pay him the full time that He was on the phone.... even though he spent 45 minutes on the phone complaining to his boss. I still left them a tip because I am a generous person. After this guy Finally got off the phone all he could do is talk about how he’s the best Mover in the company, he is the number one guy, nobody can out move him... This guy had a huge chip on his shoulder And definitely overvalues himself and his work ethic. He was by far the worst mover out of any of the companies that I’ve hired. He had such a bad attitude that when he Actually started moving our stuff things got broken scratched And treated like garbage.

Our second move
I had two pods in my driveway that needed to be unloaded now. Against my better judgment as they were the only ones that had an opening.... needed them to move some final stuff back in the house and to storage. I rented a truck and was ready to go.... I Requested that the “Unpleasant Mover” was not on my job. Unfortunately they did not show up on time.... I was standing out on my driveway and I noticed he was sitting in the cul-de-sac four houses down from mine watching me. Then he drives away. As he passed my phone rang and it was his boss saying that they couldn’t do this job and they would not work for me again. So these guys left me in a huge financial bind. All because of “unpleasant mover” and his terrible attitude. This left me stranded with all my stuff Not being moved. I ended up having to pay extra for the pods And had to pay for a truck for extra days until I can get movers in there. I guess that’s what I get for listening to them tell me to call directly to them next time for movers.... Had I just hired them through hire a helper the next time I’m sure that Hire a helper would’ve helped me out in the situation.

Whatever you do make sure you don’t have Helpful Movers on your job!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We will give you a call as soon as possible to get all of the details for your move confirmed and also go through your move with you to discuss any additional information that may happen for your move. Also we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your move.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Once we arrive onsite we will do a brief walk through and then we will get started by prepping any furniture for loading and proceed to loading your Pod, Truck or Trailer.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

The best way to prepare for your move is always organization, having walkways cleared for the movers so as not to trip over anything. If we are unloading a great time saver is to take post it notes label each room #1,#2 etc then as we are bring boxes in you can say that goes to room # this makes it much easier for you and saves you time and money!

What types of moves have you handled?

We have handled every move there is, we do in-state, residential, commercial, industrial, out of state, in home, remodels, we also do staging as well!

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

By far we love doing everything we can to take the stress out of your move, we know moving is a very stressful thing to do, so we want to do everything we can to make whatever part we are taking in it to be stress free.

What training do you provide your crew members?

All of our employees go through training on jobs as an extra crew member to learn everything they need to know before being sent out. It is imperative that they learn how to handle your belongings properly before they are put on as a full time member of our company.
