The guys were friendly and efficient. They brought plastic wrap, and utilized it with the moving blankets we got to ensure all of our furniture was protected. They did such a wonderful tetris-ing of our belongings that we only used about half the truck! They even stayed a couple of extra minutes to finish tying everything up. I would definitely use them again and have already directly recommended them to a friend. Thanks Helpful Movers for making a really stressful day a little easier!

Not the best service in helping with loading the Pod we had. They did show up within the window. Once they were finished, the Day after they left I noticed that I had to load the last few things and noticed that our boys dressers were loaded and I did mention that none of their beds and furniture goes in the Pod. They left a lot of open spaces in the Pod but I had told them to load or washer and dryer, but couldn't fit, they did move those downstairs in the garage. I have a heart condition and couldn't do this my self but I didn't want to call them back so I ended up slowly moving the dressers out and loading the washer and dryer into the Pod including 20 or more boxes into the Pod. If it wasn't for my congestive heart failure i could of did this myself. while going through and cleaning the house I noticed one of our lamps were broken the dresser these were on was loaded in the Pod so not sure if it was knocked down in the process of moving it. They could of at least said something. we had just replaced the carpeting do to the request of the new owners and there was a black dirt mark on new carpets we don't even let our kids drink water on them and these guys should of known the carpets were new or at least taken their shoes off. I wasn't there to baby sit them. You asked me for a review so I gave it.
I have them scheduled to come to the new house to unload and I am really considering to change.
thank you.
Let's address your issues 1 by 1, the reason you had to finish loading the last few items was because you wanted to stay in your 2hr time frame and when the job hit 2.5hrs you asked the crew to stop since there were only very small items left telling them that you would handle the rest.
2. You instructed the crew to load all furniture except a bed for you to sleep on, that included the dressers and beds which they asked you several times about before loading them
3. The ONLY reason there was open space in the pod was because you were in fact standing at the pod telling them EXACTLY how and where you wanted everything put!
4. Due to you having us load the pod the way you wanted the washer and dryer wouldn't fit, now had you let us load the pod the way it should of been loaded everything would've fit perfectly.
5. We did not knock down nor break any of your lamps, and we also didn't do any damage to your carpet either. You insisted we use your dolly and Justin informed you we had our own professional dolly as well as the fact that your dolly was leaking rusty water out of the side of each wheel from having been sitting outside in the rain. Even with that knowledge you still insisted they use your dolly and yet the crew still picked the dolly up and carried it over the carpet onto the hardwood floors just to make sure it didn't do any damage to your carpet.
6. As to your statement about not letting your kids eat on the carpet, if that was also true then why did the crew have to move furniture around them while they were on the carpet eating lunch? Also what your saying is every time the crew came in and out of your home they should of taken their shoes off? Do you realize how much time that would of added to your move? You could of purchased any number of products to protect your carpet but failed to do so and never asked for us to provide anything either it was never brought up.
7. Jack your last point about considering canceling you need not worry about that, I have already canceled the next job with you. I will not tolerate someone lying about our service provided and then be expected to provide you with service again.
I will also add this note, the crew that was provided to you for your job Mark and Justin have done well over 1000 load/Unload of pods and also are so highly recommended that they are the crew that does most of the western washington corporate hireahelper moves! So that really begs the question from me and to probably anyone else who reads this review, who is being truthful here?

Helpful Movers is an excellent company to hire if you really need to get moving! I had no clue how I was going to get me and my 4 year old moved while also taking a full college course load! Chad and Kerry(I think that was his name?) were excellent! Professional and efficient! I didn't have to "micromanage" and they went above and beyond after my paid time was up! I was also very happy with the pricing! There were no surprise fees or upcharges which was my main reason for choosing them. I'm on a tight budget and the money was well spent! They don't charge for stairs either!! Yay!! Helpful Movers! Thank you so much! I will definitely be using their services again!

I would not recommend this out fit to my worst enemy. This out fit does not follow normal ethical business practices when in with their customers. They misrepresent their services, and in my opinion, exploit hiring young kids, only for their own lion share of the proceed from any transaction.
Hire A Helper would do all of us consumers a great service by not recommending and/or associating themselves with HELPFUL MOVERS.
Please, Please do not subject any one to the ordeal I went through with this out fit. I know for fact I would not myself use or recommend this out fit to any one.
My sincere thanks to Lissette from HIREAHELPER Helper Support organization who appreciated the dilemma I was facing and who assisted in resolving the situation I was in.
Once again Thank You Lissette.

They did a good job. It was right on the time I hired them for. A few scuffs on my newly painted walls, but it would have been worse if I had done it myself. Overall a good job.
