Relocation with Helpful Movers
After 7 years in business, our goal at Helpful Movers has always been to make your move as stress free as it can be, all of our crews are courteous, polite, and helpful with anything needing to be done. We always treat your items with the utmost care just like they were our own. We disassemble/reassemble furniture except reassembly of cribs and bunkbeds due to safety. We cover anywhere from Seattle to Olympia to Bremerton. We offer out of state moves and we can also supply a company truck for in state moves if needed, please call for pricing. I would like to give 10 stars to James and his staff at Helpful movers. I am not the best at online stuff so I booked the wrong date, James was all over this and worked rapidly to reschedule for the same day his employees Dave and Robert , forgive me if I have the names wrong were on time even though they were coming from another job well over 30 miles away, they began to work immediately after I gave them instructions as to how we wanted to proceed. these had to be the hardest working two guys I have seen. they were extremely respectful of my property and our items being moved. I would without a doubt use the service again. To whomever reads this I am usually not a survey taker or one who leaves feedback positive or negative but I really felt that these people need recognition. the service helpful movers overall was really simple and user friendly it was me that made it more difficult than it had to be I over thought it I only recommend better advertisement I stumbled on the entire service by accident. GREAT WORK !

I hired two guys for four hours to pack a truck. It ended up taking them 9 hours!! They were slow, took smoke breaks and long bathroom breaks. No hustle whatsoever. They "comped us" time for when one worker wasn't there. Of course I'm not paying for when someone isn't there working - don't act like it's a favor! Now that we are at our new house and got everything unpacked - a tremendous amount of damage. Some wear and tear and accidents I understand but there is a lot of damage to a lot of items. My house undoubtedly looks crappier with all these damaged things now. I completely regret hiring them in the first place, giving any tip at all and even being cordial while they were there.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will give you a call as soon as possible to get all of the details for your move confirmed and also go through your move with you to discuss any additional information that may happen for your move. Also we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Once we arrive onsite we will do a brief walk through and then we will get started by prepping any furniture for loading and proceed to loading your Pod, Truck or Trailer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for your move is always organization, having walkways cleared for the movers so as not to trip over anything. If we are unloading a great time saver is to take post it notes label each room #1,#2 etc then as we are bring boxes in you can say that goes to room # this makes it much easier for you and saves you time and money!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled every move there is, we do in-state, residential, commercial, industrial, out of state, in home, remodels, we also do staging as well!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
By far we love doing everything we can to take the stress out of your move, we know moving is a very stressful thing to do, so we want to do everything we can to make whatever part we are taking in it to be stress free.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our employees go through training on jobs as an extra crew member to learn everything they need to know before being sent out. It is imperative that they learn how to handle your belongings properly before they are put on as a full time member of our company.
