Tucson Mover Reviews
Would like to have Mike and Arturo for part 2 of our move in January 2025
In spite of physical handicap, workers were wonderful to deal with. Would use them again gladly
The moving team showed up on time and were fully prepared with moving straps and a dolly. They worked with urgency and completed the move in a timely manner. The movers were extremely friendly, courteous and respectful of the house and items being moved. They carefully loaded/stacked the POD by putting heavier stuff on bottom and covering furniture with blankets. I highly recommend them for other jobs and I would definitely use them again in the future.
The two men that helped us pack for our long distance move were extremely professional, polite and efficient! It was a great experience and I highly recommend Alpha Force Moving Company!
The crew of James, Zeke, and Fabian did a fantastic job of unloading our U-Pack trailer, reloading onto their smaller MPH Services truck, and delivering and our stuff into our new home roughly 40 miles away. MPH stepped in and saved the day when Hire A Helper erred, not realizing we needed an unload, reload, transport, unload from the U-Pack/ABF terminal to our new place. Diana from SLS quickly found MPH. Manny from MPH and Diana were excellent. The crew mentioned above was fast, professional, careful with our stuff, and fun guys. I recommend MPH Services without reservation.
The team was professional and personable.
Great help, thank you very much! The team was terrific, hard working and friendly.

Major Neighborhoods in Tucson
Do you enjoy the sun? Then if you can handle the heat that comes with it, Tucson might be for you. It comes with an average of 350 sunny days per year and all the unique flora and fauna in the Sonoran Desert. You can see some of these if you visit the Tucson Botanical Gardens or Saguaro National Park. It's also the self-proclaimed Mexican food capital of the US, but whether or not that's true, you'd be silly to miss out on restaurants like El Güero Canelo for the local specialty sonoran hot dog. The almost year-long sunshine means you don't have to worry about moving in the rain, but you still should look into hiring local movers who know the area best. They'll relocate to your new home in whatever neighborhood you like best.
Downtown Tucson
Downtown Tucson has a bustling and lively vibe thanks to an influx of new hotels, art galleries, restaurants, and events. Art enthusiasts will enjoy Madaras Gallery, showcasing beautiful Southwestern-style sculptures and paintings. Casino Del Sol is a favorite hotspot even if you're a local, with a spa, over 1,300 slots, and table games. And be sure to check out 2nd Saturdays, a family-friendly music festival with vendors, and street performers. Best of all, if you don’t want to drive or walk, you can hop on the Tucson Sun Link Streetcar, which takes riders to several of the neighborhood’s entertainment districts. Since the area is so busy, it helps to hire local movers who know the area and can handle the crowds and parking for you.
Armory Park
Armory Park is a laid-back residential pocket just south of Downtown. This historic neighborhood has some seriously eclectic housing choices, including homes dating to the early 1900s, bungalows, Victorian-style, and contemporary residences. You can also find the Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center in the area, located in the state’s first synagogue. Whenever you work up an appetite, visit 5 Points Market & Restaurant, a popular spot serving New American dishes, espresso, and a small grocery market. Or, head to the oft-recommend Barrio Brewing Co. for a cold one — you can find their delicious beers all around Arizona, but luckily they're headquartered in Tucson. If you’re planning to move to Armory Park, refer to our list of trusted Tucson moving truck rental companies for a smooth transition.
San Hughes
The Sam Hughes neighborhood is one of the earliest built subdivisions in Tucson. It's great for students or professionals, since it's located close to the University of Arizona campus and you're just a short commute from the downtown area. The neighborhood itself is pretty walkable, and residents also enjoy strolling in the 24.3-acre Himmel Park with a grass amphitheater, two playgrounds, a swimming pool, and eight tennis courts. Whenever you want a bite, you can head over to local eateries like Trident Pizza Pub or a vegetarian Mexican plate at Tumerico. But before you pack up your stuff and relocate to Sam Hughes, check out our list of professionals to find a reliable Tucson moving company that can easily navigate the area.
Catalina Foothills
You're at the doorstep of the desert if you're a resident of Catalina Foothills. Despite that fact, it's actually a pretty green area thanks to the golf courses nearby, like The Lodge at Ventana Canyon and The Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa. If golf isn’t your thing, no sweat — locals also love the amazing nightlife scene at venues like Commoner & Company and AZul Restaurant and Lounge. But if you need something to do earlier, there are a ton ofart galleries, like Mark Sublette Medicine Man Art Gallery. And you can cap your day at restaurants like El Cisine and Seis Kitchen. If you’re moving to Catalina Foothills, check out our list of reliable Tucson moving companies to find a pro who knows how to navigate the area.

Mike and Joe are awesome, highly recommend. There was breakage from inside my pod and they helped me deal with it. Good communication and dependable as well.
Search can stop here. Communication was excellent from the time of booking. Texted the night before asking if they could come earlier, to which we agreed. Showed up on time, were friendly, helpful, efficient and did a fantastic job packing our POD. Would recommend over and over!
The entire process was seamless: from contacting Hire a Helper all the way to completing the paperwork for payment when the job was completed & everything in between!!!!! The two men that helped us were fantastic workers and so easy to be around. I HIGHLY recommend this service…it was with every affordable penny we spent. THANK YOU.
Joseph and John were great in all respects. Had to almost force them to take a break and get some water. Hired them again a day later. Very respectful of our possessions and our walls and doors. Well equipped and used proper technique. These were not day laborers, but owner and assistant.
Mister Saguaro’s Moving and Labor Solutions met all our expectations…on time, prepared, hard working, and tackled problems effectively. We would definitely use them again.
These guys are awesome! They worked hard and quickly while still taking care of our belongings. They loaded a 16 ft pod in 2.5 hrs and every cubic inch was used. We were stunned by how much they fit in. We have a 2nd pod coming in a couple of weeks and will definitely be using the same crew.
Best two guys in the business! My wife, our girlfriend l, and I all thought they were great. They took their time as not to damage our goods or our new home. We could not be happier. They called when they were on the way.
Outstanding! These guys really took care of our property. They did an excellent job of packing the truck and protecting our furniture. There were nice enough to work overtime to finish the job! Nothing was damaged. They were all very friendly and courteous. They may cost a bit more than some other movers but they are worth it!!
Overall, did a good job. They were a bit slow and seemed to have troubles packing the truck as well as I think they likely should have so I had to do some extra work to transfer the rest of the items. Would have been 3 stars, but one of them (I believe it was Steven) was willing to add on an extra free 15 minutes (instead of charging another hour) to finish the job which was very appreciated.
The guys that came were awesome. They got everything unloaded much quicker than I was expecting. They were really personable and worked with everything I needed. If you’re looking for movers, I would absolutely recommend.
They arrived on time; keeping me informed of what time they would be here. They were very careful of my furniture and house. They confirmed with me at the end that all my furniture was placed exactly where I wanted it. They were efficient, didn’t waste time and were friendly. The cost was the best of all the quotes I got. I am VERY pleased with their service and would hire them again.
Chris and his coworker were on time, respectful, very careful moving the furniture in and they were very friendly. I would definitely use them again
