The loaders were terrific. Kevin and Billy work together cheerfully and well. They hustle with no wasted time. They were very careful in moving the items without even scratching walls or floors. Their packing the PODS was unbelievably good. They gave us tips on unloading on the other end as well. It would be great if they can come with us to unload the items.

We hired Hire-A-Helper (Get A Move On) to load a truck for a move on 2/4/19. We had Kevin and Billy and they did a phenomenal job!
They were on time and worked straight through with no breaks. It took 2 ½ hours to load a 20 foot truck. Kevin and Billy wrapped each piece of furniture in the pads we provided. On some large items, like a corner cupboard, they put cardboard around it before wrapping it. The pads were not just wrapped around the furniture but they taped the pads shut so they wouldn’t open during transit.
Kevin and Billy went above and beyond what we expected and we were extremely impressed by their professionalism and the care that they took.
One side note – we had a friend who was watching and was going to help drive the truck. His comment was “I didn’t know that such a service existed. When I move, I’m going to hire these people to help me move.” If I had to move again, I highly recommend Hire-A-Helper (Get A Move On).

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
I will call to discuss your moving needs.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A call in the morning and an experienced crew to pack/load/unload your belongings.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Since we are paid by the hour anything to make the job go quicker; break down beds, take shelves out of China Hutch, legs off tables, shades/ light bulbs from lamps etc. We have no problem doing all these things though.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved clients all over the country, done many office jobs, transported entire household or just a few things.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people and seeing the stress leave customers faces after they realize we know what we are doing!
What training do you provide your crew members?
We take new crew members on jobs @ no extra cost and train them to be the best. We also have them watch multiple moving videos on YouTube.
