Mine was a unique type of move and I wasn't sure how much time to book. I booked 5 hours. My son and I arrive early and prepped a lot of the stuff so loading the box truck only took 2 hours. Movers did OK, they had a dolly - that's it. No gloves, no moving straps, no broom...
I called the owner to try to discuss some sort of refund for the 3 hours I didn't have them. He wouldn't even call me back. Just said no through the third party that booked it. I get that I booked them for 5 and they couldn't be scheduled for anywhere else but I also know if I hadn't booked enough time they could have left me high and dry and not finished getting me loaded.
I paid for 3 hour of time unused, if I had known they weren't going to refund - I would have kept them there and had the movers help CLEAN up after loading the truck.
I would not recommend them or hire them again myself. Poor customer service from the owner and that starts at the top in my book.

Where do I begin...(I hired 3 men for 4 hours) I will start by saying the person that I spoke with throughout the day was communicative throughout everything that was occurring & was able to come to an agreement in pricing in the end BUT NONE LESS THE JOB WAS AN ISSUE FROM THE BEGINNING. NOW.. My time slot for arrival was between 9 am-10 am. I received a call close to 9 am that they were finishing a job and would be arriving a little late (understandable). I decided to call around 10:30 to inquire where they were as it was way behind the grace period and as you know every minute counts., He advises that they should be arriving shortly. Next thing you know 1 yup you read that right 1 man shows at 11. Now from the time the one man arrived to the time the other 2 arrived, he was working very hard SHAWN - I will continue to give you your praise without you this job would have gone to a deeper crap show than it was. Next, the other 2 men arrived at 11:43 am, NOT TO MENTION ONE ARRIVED WEARING NIKE SLIDES!!! The 2 workers that arrived late were less than working, there were times they were moving one bunk bed pole at a time. Basically eating up the clock. Now we couldn't even finish the job because they were late and the truck had to be returned etc. I had to rush and put everything in the truck so that we could get to the next location and drop off the items. Now here's the next issue. Everyone pulls out of the complex at the same time. Everyone is going in the same direction. We arrived at the 2nd location which is 8 minutes away, the 2 men who arrived super late didn't arrive at the 2nd location until 20 minutes after everyone else arrived. The truck was emptied in about over an hour but that was due to the family I had being on top of the men to ensure it was completed in the time allotted. Once the clock ran out I spoke with the "head person" via telephone and expressed my concerns throughout the job ( I didn't wait until the end of the job to complain, he was well aware of the horrible work that was being completed from the minute they arrived). After speaking with him he thought that an "offering" of 50$ was going to be sufficient after I spent over 600$ for a job to not be completed & 2 horrible workers. What a joke. Not to mention the worker that showed up with slides, and did close to no work at all decided he was going to hang around my apartment and request that I provide him with pizza and a tip-(after doing a crappy job not to mention I provided the workers with drinks all day to ensure they are well hydrated) ANYWAYS I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THE COMPANY TO ANYONE NOR WILL I EVER BE USING THEM AGAIN!!

Marco and Jerome did an excellent job recovering items that were unfortunately left in my old apartment by the last moving company we hired through UHaul's "MovinglaborHelp" a few days prior and they also assisted in showing us how to carefully reassemble large furniture items. They had a caring spirit and a joyful attitude toward the job. I was impressed with their ability to troubleshoot box stacking to optimize space within our In-Town UHaul Truck rental. Most importantly, they arrived a few minutes early and made sure the job was completed as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend these two (and DMV Discount Moving & Cleaning) for any upcoming move you might have in the DMV area. Lots of laughs to make the moving process a breeze. ~DCM

Damaged the hardwood flooring during the move. I paid extra for the piano move and I was expecting professional helpers/movers experienced with moving. However Company sent high school kids who were not qualified to help with the move.
