My helpers were on time, but only 2 of the 4 scheduled workers were there due to injury, and they asked me to cancel my appointment through HireAHelper and pay them in cash because their boss had been arrested the night before and they didn’t know when they would get paid. The two still unloaded our items from the PODs when I refused, but they had not properly secured the drawers and used enough of the provided blankets and wrap to protect other pieces of furniture when they had loaded them at our previous house. This resulted in a hole in the wall of our stairwell when one of the drawers opened into the wall as they carried it upstairs and the top of our chest freezer being noticeably scratched and discolored. We ended up helping them unload to get it done in time, as they were clearly struggling with some of the larger pieces with just two people. I would not be willing to use them again.

Guys did a great job at a not so easy task. Were able to improvise to get my elliptical down to my home gym regardless of difficulty in room to maneuver and get it through doors and down stairs.

Great service! I was amazed how they were able to pack everything into the POD in such an orderly manner! Didn’t think many items were going to fit! Very nice & personable guys! Would definitely hire them again! Job well done!

Confirmed move for 10 AM - Company changed time the night before two 11 saying they needed an extra 30 minutes due to a previous job in travel Time. Heavily inconvenient but I approved.

11 AM no call no show. 12 PM no call no show. 1230 I get a message and a text saying they ran over. I have to ask them to call Me. The owner is frustrated and I have to be the one to find out in a calmer voice if I’m having movers today. He said he can personally drive but it will take him an hour. I am pressed upon him the importance of having professional movers that I was paying for not to send me random people. He begged me not to cancel so he would not lose his business.

At this point they were supposed to help get the heaviest 4 items into my pod first so I could then load the rest of my house - I’ve been at a standstill since 11 AM.

They show up at 2:50, no uniforms, with a female companion sitting in the car. The owner clearly has moved before and understands A process and how to carry items. His helper friend was worthless. The main reason I was overpaying for $10/hr help was the experience factor and professionalism. The helper friend had to be coached on every aspect of moving to the point I took over and was carrying his position several times. He complained almost the whole time.

They took breaks?!?!? At least 2-3. In two hours under a huge time crunch I should not of had because I padded severely. My friend and I did not take a break while they were there.

The buyers of my home were scheduled to see it at 5 PM and because they showed up so late it means I could not utilize them for an hour at most that put us behind or just an additional $50. It might’ve been an additional hour at most. So I paid $400 for two hours - had to hire another day on my trailer and additional help the next day to get my items out before my house closed.

I was not offered a discount.
They did not offer to stay to make sure the house was completed.
They were very concerned that I would approve and release their money.
While I was releasing their money they were talking about “real jobs” where they have to wear uniforms and do it more professional. They were very anxious to help me unpack and wanted to know where I was moving - no dice.

I’m not even sure what my remedy is because I was held hostage because the items I need to move required four people. I’m out and additional $300 this morning because they were late. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed at this company and website.

Wow this is not even close to what happened at all i spoke with you the day before and even stated i had a 4 hour move before yours and i was unsure it was going to go over because it was a semi unload,and i called to let you know the day b4 i even accepted the order that we was unsure and that we never accept two orders in one day that close together.but you insisted that when i rescheduled online the time frame you assured me you would wait because as i mentioned if i accepted the order and the first one went over we would get a 1 star and a no show and lose our business due to the slow season.the guy i brought was def not weak and worthless i know this because hes helped me get over 400 5 star reviews in the last ten yrs and to become number 1# rated in the us and has helped me keep that status.and im injured and hes severely injured because you didnt tell hireahelper about 500 or more pound piece of furniture that we charge 500$ amd bring extra guys for nor did you tell them about the 3 flights of stairs you had.wetook two water breaks and they were no more than 5 minutes and we worked hard and safe so none of your stuff would get damaged.this is by far the worst review that i have ever recieved and i am on all my orders so there wouldnt be any issues.so by accepting the order and helping you out and finishing the job we worked for two hours and you stated your two hours are up and even shook ny hand said great job and have aniceday.we were soaking wet from rushing and for working in the rain and we wore our nice clothes and standarfdjobs do not require uniform.which yours was a standard job i will assure you that i will never book two jobs in one day again.other than being late we worked hard did anything you ask,nor did we damage anything so we still recieved a 1 star review that is for people that are terrible and people who break things that are irreplaceable ,that do drugs at work people who steal and for people that come to work and leave early! Also after the two hours yes indeed i did ask you to release payment but we could stay over for free and that female companion you spwak about just so happens to be my beautiful wife that drove us an hour and half each way so qe cpuld complete your job.my reviews speak for themselves i guess owning a business you cant please everyone and i will continue to work hard be a good person and move on from this.and i am very professional in every aspect but the one star review is honestly embarrassing,dampering and ridiculous but as i said we' ll keep working harf and try our best to improve our skilla and rise above this horrible review sir have a nice day and good luck to and your family with your future endevorars and god bless you all.

Harold (and crew) were on time, motivated, and professional. Even made it a point you use his own body parts (arm) to prevent any damage to my walls.

This was a last minute booking and he made sure to call and text me to confirm that my request would be fulfilled. Didn’t let me wonder. Thank you.
