We had a fantastic experience with One Direction Moving! Chris and his teammate were absolutely wonderful to work with. From the start, they were proactive in communicating and kept us informed throughout the process, which made everything so much smoother. Both Chris and his teammate were punctual, efficient, and incredibly hardworking. Despite being just a two-person team, they managed the entire move seamlessly. What really stood out was their attention to detail and how well they listened to our instructions. They handled fragile items with great care and ensured that everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. We’re located in Travelers Rest, SC, and it was great to work with a team that’s based right here in the Greenville County area. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor turned what could have been a stressful day into an easy and enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for movers who are reliable, careful, and genuinely great to work with, we highly recommend One Direction Moving.

Major Neighborhoods in Asheville

In the Blue Ridge Mountains, you will find the gorgeous city of Asheville, NC. There are tons of hiking trails, waterfalls, and national parks nearby, like the North Carolina Arboretum and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you're into the outdoors, you'll be in heaven. The city itself has a really cool, bohemian vibe. There's a thriving arts scene (Asheville Art Museum), with lots of galleries (Momentum Gallery), breweries and live music venues. It's a great place to explore and discover new things. Moving here? Hire Asheville, NC, movers to help you find your way through the winding roads in this mountain town.

Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake is a pretty cool neighborhood in Asheville. It's located a bit off the beaten path, so it's not as well-known as some of the other areas, but it's a great place to live. The biggest draw is the Beaver Lake itself. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet and peaceful. It's a mix of older homes and newer developments, so there's a good variety of housing options. Simplify your move to Beaver Lake with a moving company in Asheville, NC.

Albemarle Park

Albemarle Park is in one of the older parts of town, so it has a lot of character. The area is known for its historic homes and curving streets. One thing locals love about this neighborhood is that it feels like it’s far outside the city even though it’s a mere walk from downtown. If you’re planning on moving to this scenic neighborhood, call on an Asheville moving company to help you relocate between Charlotte Street and Sunset Drive.

Biltmore Village

Biltmore Village is Asheville's gem. It's a planned community built around the Biltmore Estate, where you’ll find over 40 shops and 10 restaurants. The bell ringing throughout the community is thanks to the historic Cathedral of All Souls, host of August's Biltmore Village Art & Craft Fair. If you're looking for a luxurious neighborhood, this is for you. Choose an Asheville moving company to get you there in a classic Biltmore style.

Royal Pines

Royal Pines is located a bit outside of the city center, so it's quieter and more peaceful than other neighborhoods in the Asheville area. Lake Julian Park is nearby, a great spot for the kiddos and scenic spots by the water. There is a lot of development here and homes off Mills Gap Road branch off to rolling hillsides, so movers are going to be your best bet to drive those trucks in narrow roads and construction zones for you when you find your ideal home.

Smart Move made everything easy. They were great with communications before the move so I could plan for moving my belongings from moving containers into self storage. The two-man team was careful and thoughtful in moving all my belongings. I’m already planning to have them move my stuff from self-storage into my home.

They showed up a little bit early, (which was ideal, because rainy weather was on the way), and cheerfully hauled some pretty heavy stuff through muddy conditions. They fully unloaded my pod, (which I hadn’t thought possible), with zero damage to property. 10/10 would recommend and will probably retain their services in the future.
