Though the actual person that came to my home was great, everything else was horrible. First off 1 person was sent to do a 2 man job when it was supposed to be 2 workers for 2 hours. The time was scheduled for 12-1 and the worker showed up at 2:16pm. I have stairs and it was very hard for him to take 2 full solid wood bedroom sets up them.
I do not recommend this company because everyone’s time is precious to them and if you schedule something and can’t fulfill your obligation then you should cancel not do half a job.

Legacy was wonderful from beginning to end. They were very communicative about a delay in their arrival time, and when they arrived, they worked professionally and efficiently. Legacy is a smaller, family-owned business, but they do great work, and I never felt like they were padding the clock.

Woman had four teenagers with her to move my things. They were able to move all my things without damaging anything. The woman was in charge of packing the uhaul. She didn’t do a good job. I had to step in myself and assist with arranging things so all items would fit. We had a 20’ uhaul for a small 2 bdrm apartment. Some of my things were broken and I had to leave behind my computer table and chair because the uhaul would not close. When I say I would NEVER do this again....... NEVER!! I mean professional movers were 1k more than hiring helpers and renting the uhaul myself, but they are professionals, they break down and set up, and provide insurance for all items. This company was really just hired helpers that help move items from your home to the truck or from the truck into your home.
Your service request for 2 movers for 2 hours were provided with the help of 2 additional movers for a total of 4 service pros.
Our young professionals are eager to learn from the work of our more experienced professionals with the understanding that one day they’ll also pass those same skills on to the next generation of professionals.
When the team arrived the truck was partially packed with various boxes and most of the fragile items were already loaded; immediately space and damage control was a concern made known to the customer; The crew carefully and skillfully worked from the start to finish. The customers stayed active throughout the move as well; as they were in a hurry due to having issues earlier on with their truck rental which also had an impact the time of arrival for the movers which changed a couple of times throughout the day; we worked with the customer around the time change. Despite the concern of the on-site crew manager, the customer insisted certain items be loaded the way she wanted done.
As requested; the loading was continued under direction of the customer.
Again we appreciate your business as well as your feedback in some cases regardless to the services provided are how far we go beyond to provide quality services we still fall short of satisfaction; we’re always seeking to improve!

The mover who came was fantastic. Great gentleman. Only problem, he was the only one who showed up after I had paid for 2 helpers for two hours. In that situation I had to help with the move, We completed the work in 1 hour starting at 10:25 and Finishing at 11:25. Once again the gentleman that showed up was a treat to work with and carry all of the items in with, Shame that I had to help because the other decided not to come.

Owner sent 2 movers at 12 in an Uber. They were not prepared to break down the furniture and didn’t have a dolly. She sent 2 more movers after 5pm with no equipment also! It was then when she stated she was out of town with all the tools and protective equipment, instead of telling me that before the first group arrived she made it seem like it was a misunderstanding! If she would have communicated with me properly I would have had all the equipment ready for the movers! I didn’t mind stepping up to do the extra work! I took one of the helpers to their house because he had tools and a dolly and I had to go to Home Depot to get more protective wrapping for the furniture which was included in the fee I paid for her services! Then I had to pay her cash for the overage! Lastly I gave the guys a ride home because I didn’t want them to use the money they just made for an Uber. I tipped the movers because I really appreciated their patience and helping me load the truck up! Once we got all the equipment they got straight to work. I salute you baby for being a Young black woman with your own business but you can do better. moving is already stressful!
As a business owner there are many times I go above and beyond to ensure my team provides quality services and still fall short of satisfying the customer. We do appreciate your understanding, and extra effort your decision to provide a ride was appreciated but wasn’t a necessary.
