This was to load a 26 foot truck for a one way move out of state. First the disclaimer.. I under estimated the time it would take complete the load and in retrospect I should have requested a three person crew instead of two people due to number of pieces of furniture to be moved and their size. The width of the staircase and the tightness of the turns was also an issue. Generally the two men were courteous and took good care of our furniture. However there were issues outside the actual moving activity. According to my order I was to be contacted within 24 hours of placing the order. I was not. When I called two days later the designated contact person indicated that he usually waited until a day or two prior to the actual schedule move call since a lot of people change their minds and/or forgot. Generally he was condescending. I had also requested a starting time of 9 (which was confirmed on my order) but he said they couldn't start until 10. On moving day one of the men arrived 15 minutes early and was ready to go. The second person arrived 40 minutes late. So my original start time of 9 was pushed out to 10:40. This was an issue for me as I had a five hour drive after the truck was loaded. The second worker spent a considerable amount of time watching the first guy work. The major issue occurred near the end of the agreed upon 3 hours when it became evident that there was no way to finish in the 3 hour window. The workers wouldn't consider extending an extra hour, which was certainly within their agreement but it left me with a problem. So while they fulfilled the letter of their agreement the customer accommodation aspect was lacking. Based on the attitude of the company contact, the delay in starting time and the unwillingness to extend their time I would not use this company in the future.

I hired UCALL&IHAUL for 4 hours of moving. Steve and Kevin worked tirelessly the entire time. They moved an incredibly heavy fully assembled elliptical down 3 flights of stairs, plus a washer/dryer and countless boxes. They were professional, courteous, personable and efficient. I had a couple of great conversations with the owner before the move and he gave me a thorough list of what to have prepared and on-hand for the move to be as successful as possible. I HIGHLY recommend this company and give my workers the best possible rating. This company deserves recognition for its outstanding service and every single one of the FIVE STARS I give! I wish them all tremendous success, which the fully deserve!

Steve was very professional and packed the truck to precision. No broken items, hard workers and completed in allotted time. They were 15 mins early and very friendly to work with - would highly recommend.

The 2 guys arrived on time, were knowledgeable and respectful of property and goods. Overall a pleasure to work with. I probably would not use them again as my interaction with the individual who called to arrange final details was not customer friendly and if I did not need to complete the move quickly, I would have preferred to use another service provider.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
They expect the initial phone call in timely manner to discuss the details of their move, time of arrival and what services we provide.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We show up on time, introduce ourselves, do the complimentary walk through in order to get familiar with their residence and determine what items are going on a load and where items go on an unload.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best moves are a wonderful collaboration our moving skills, basic tools, and the customer provide equipment and protective materials such as moving blankets, stretch wrap, bubble wrap and mattress bags.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've been in business for more than 13 years over which time we've done local, long distance, and office moves. The majority of the moves have been local residential moves which is our core business.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I was in the mortgage industry for almost 20 years when I started this company as a way to give my customers quality moves at an affordable price. I really enjoy walking into a home on a load job and their items are everywhere and in every room and watching the customer's face light up when we successfully empty the home into their moving truck safely and securely.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Each mover receives thorough class room policy and procedure training before they ever go out on a moving job. Then they get on going on the job practical training with regular assessments of their progress.
