These guys went above and beyond! I’d recommend them all around!

Mover's response:
For a 2 Mover team Go2Movers estimates 4-6 hrs. to FULLY load a 26 foot truck. More time can be anticipated for long walks, elevator wait times, lack of parking space for truck.

The loader didn’t seem to like it because I had already loaded some boxes before their arrival. He commented several times expressing his dissatisfaction with my preloading items. I finally asked how many times was he going to tell me “I screwed up?” I then told him to just load the truck. My reason for preloading the items was because the items I loaded were going to be offloaded at another location. So I wanted to minimize time for offloading. At unloading I found that the loader had moved preloaded items. Considering that I have moved over 30 times, I think I know pretty well how to load a truck. Had it not been for 3 items that were too heavy for me to pick up myself, I would have simply told the loaders to just leave. Regardless that the loader has done it “over 5,000 times”. It is rude and inconsiderate to debate how I wanted the truck loaded. I was the paying customer, but not of this loader anymore!

Mover's response:
We never said the customer screwed up. I did bring it to the customers attention that he did not utilize the vertical space when he loaded every single box prior to our arrival. He only built about 4 1/2 feet high of a 8 foot truck ceiling losing about 3 1/2 feet of vertical space for 14 feet that caused space issues. Estimated loss 392 cubic footage space or %25 of a 26 foot truck. In order to utilize the dead space due to his poor loading and to get level and square I had to remove 2 walls of boxes. We have a loading format that utilizes vertical space. You don’t want to build walls or tiers of boxes and put items on top of them because the bottom boxes of the piles will simply crush and cause damages. It is best to utilize the vertical space as you are building walls or tiers when is it is easier accessible. To utilize the vertical space build walls consisting of a bases boxes and miscellaneous format. Please do not start loading before we arrive. please do not load all the boxes before we arrive. Yes you are the paying customer but I was second-guessed and under- minded every step of the way. He Also had 2 sofas about 7 ft long that could not have anything placed on them further Losing vertical space. Given the opportunity I would’ve rather completely gutted the truck and started from the scratch. Yes, after ten years in business I have completed 5,000 moves with my own 2 hands.

Obviously its a stressful day. I was extremely busy and I understand they had to do work they werent expecting. I was very angry at that. I had asked my son to move all the boxes down to the first floor to make it easier. Well he didnt and it made my life hell. After all that said and done I have moved over 30 times and always use movers. The movers esp. compared to the ones ive had in the past and even the ones in colorado springs the next day were completely different. The young man was cordial. My bookshelf from the master was broken. The pegs in my desk where I work everyday are missing. My sons inverter table is missing the pin( dont know what that is but its a big deal) I understand the time constraints and again I'm 47 and have moved every 3 years of my life usually with a 2 bedroom and have the movers do all of it. This time I wad moving out of state so it was different. I was very busy but had my best friend who has been a mover for years watch and he wasnt happy. I didnt know any of this until I got to colorado springs and the movers moved us in. He showed me everything that was broken and pegs missing and the inverter table missing the pin. I watch them move and they were extremely friendly. These guys have a hard job I get it. But I'm a professional mover (haha) and I always give 10s on any review. My friend yelled at me when I told him what I tipped them I thought it was protocol. It is was it is. And im not upset its been a long couple of days and I still appreciate the help. I will not be using them again. Thank you so much for your time. The movers in Colorado Springs were amazing.
