Morris Franklin is an expert packer of Pods. He did the job thorough by shrink wrap the valuable stuff. They took a minimum of time...and finished on time....i ask them to stay an extra hour...

Booked them to assist with our load of a 26 foot yellow-truck. Hired a two-man crew for six hours total.
Had some trouble getting the correct size/quality moving truck, and asked them to arrive a little later than planned. They were flexible on the start time, which I appreciated.
They were on time. They were exceptionally cheerful and pleasant from the first handshake to the final farewell. Their positive attitude really made this one of the most pleasant moves. I have moved many times, and am very particular about how the truck was loaded. They followed my instructions to the letter. We had vintage mahogany parquet floors, so no hand carts or dollies could be used in the house. Everything had to be hand carried to the kitchen and then transported via hand-cart to me in the truck. They did this without a single complaint.
I also had some very heavy items in the garage that they handled without incident: large rolling toolbox, solid wood workbench, five-drawer vertical file cabinet. They were incredibly careful with all of our items. Not a single item was dropped or otherwise mishandled. I have used Hire a Helper four times now, and they were hands down the best movers I have ever used. Moving TX is the benchmark against which all other movers should be judged. Wish I could give them SIX stars. Yes, I would absolutely use Moving TX again. Excellent service!

These guys were very helpful in a very stressful situation. They worked fast and efficiently and packed my two PODS expertly.

The guys who helped us with our move were friendly and on-time, however they did not secure our items properly. Even with us having two canisters of straps and requesting that they be used, not a single one was used, as you'll see in the video. Because of this, we had a lot of shifting and damaged items. Also, we requested to have furniture wrapped in either blankets or plastic, both of which were provided. Neither the plastic nor the blankets we supplied were used effectively as our mattress was not covered and is not filthy from the move, among other issues. The plastic was not used at all. While it's nothing personal whatsoever, I would not use this moving service again, and I think it's important for other customers considering this team to know. I've had very successful moves in the past, and unfortunately, this one was the worst we've experienced as we easily lost a few hundred dollars in goods and should have just done it ourselves. Here is a link to a video I made upon opening our Pod, which was so jammed because of shifted items, it took us about 15 minutes to get into. I used Moving Texas to load various furniture items and boxes into a portable storage unit. They were able to start early and get done in the allotted time. They did a good job loading up everything that I asked them to load. I did however wish they had used more of the moving blankets I provided for my antique furniture.

The moving company I scheduled with cancelled on me the night before my move. I had to scramble and was very lucky to find Moving Texas, they were awesome! They were so easy to work with even under such short notice. The men who showed up were polite, friendly, very hard working and smart! They did a great job and saved me and my move!

Overall a good experience. They arrived over an hour late due to the job before me running over. I had no problem with that they called. I was a little disappointed that they saw damage and didn't say anything. I know they saw it because when I went out to the storage pod they had cleaned up part of it. I'm not upset about the damage I moved from MN to TX I expected some. But there were 2 obviously damaged items and they just brought them in. Besides that the guys were nice and respectful and worked really hard.
