The two helpers showed up on time, however one or both of them smelled strongly of marijuana. I told them of the goal and needs of the job which was to take items from the garage and put them into the moving container. They completed the task but had three items which they said could not fit (a lawn mower, a wheelbarrow, and a 10ft ladder). I informed them the lawnmower had to fit and they managed to get it in, but not without squishing several boxes in the process. After they left, I showed the container to my husband who was appalled at the work they did. My husband and I wound up re-loading half of the container to fix squished boxes and managed to get the lawnmower and 10ft ladder in. Overall, I am displeased with the quality of service the helpers provided and would not recommend using them. One or both of them were high, they did an incomplete job, and were not concerned with my possessions.

Called n advance and let us know they could come early. Worked efficiently. Finished job in less than 2 hours. Courteous, careful moving thing around, did not take breaks. Overall great work. I’d hire them again!

The only reason I gave them a 2 was because they did a great job the first time they packed, which was mostly boxes. The second time was horrible. We had a pile separated which were things we needed to access on the trip. They packed those in the middle. They packed bulky patio chairs and left my daughter's bed and desk, as well as our entertainment center and another large piece of furniture. I told them we needed beds and furniture instead of patio chairs. They said they had already stayed late and couldn't stay any longer. If they would have worked faster when they got there the work could have been done. They also stood my Italian leather sofa on an arm with no protection and lodged it against the rolling back door, which put a hole on the leather. I ended up hiring another moving company to repack the POD. An hout of labor fee supposed to be refunded which I don't think they did. Wouldn't recommend this company.

We used Moving Texas when we arrived here in Austin and had such a great experience we called them again when we decided to leave. We are using a POD shipping container to move across the country and we didn’t think we were going to fit all our belongings in the container, but thanks to Alex super Tetris skills we fit everything and even had spare room. The whole crew was fast, friendly, and worked with a smile on their faces. They took our 3 bed apt on the 3rd floor (no elevator) and stuffed our POD in 2 hours flat. Don’t hesitate to call Morris and crew, they’re the best. Want to help us unload in Boston? Haha. Thanks guys.
