They were a bit late but called to let us know that. They worked hard and packed our belongings well. We would definitely recommend these two fellows to anyone needing extra help packing a moving truck. We had six family members helping us to get things out of the house and the guys mostly filled the truck. All of us working together got our 26 foot truck filled to the roof in 2 hous.

The guys worked so hard in the horrible heat. They were respectful of my property. My only regret was that they were late and may have been in a bit of a rush because of it. I’d use them again though because they were hardworking, kind and considerate.

I was very happy with the scheduling center, the communication and the movers. I had to switch times and they accommodated my time change easily. The movers called that day to see if they could come earlier, everything went better then I expected. Once the movers came, they got to work!! They were professional, courteous and hard working. I would absolutely use Hire A Helper again and request the two movers we had. We had a great experience.

They showed up a half hour late, and they were not prepared for the job. They did not bring a requested furniture dolly or hand cart for moving the furniture and boxes as requested in the notes for the job. They did work hard, but the job wasn't finished, and they were unable to stay longer. Not sure I would use them again without having all of the details discussed prior to the work. Using the notes section of Hire A Helper seems to be the breakdown in what was needed for the Job. I also had an extra expense having to go and purchase a hand cart for them to use, without it a lot less would have been completed.

Our two movers were on time, polite, respectful, friendly, careful with our things, and knowledgeable about packing things and moving things in a logical and efficient way. I was also able to communicate with their manger via text and that was really helpful. I would highly recommend S&L. One thing, I thought they would wrap our stuff but did not. This may have been a miscommunication between me and the manager and has nothing to do with the the great service provided by the movers themselves.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
