The movers that loaded the POD's were very professional listened to our concerned about certain items that were fragile and packed them so they were protected. They were non stop until both POD's were completely loaded in a very timely manner. I have recommend them to several friends already. Ed and Pauline

The crew were scheduled to arrive beteeen 8:00 and 9:00am. After several phone calls by me and many excuses by S&L Express two guys showed up 3 hours late. Now, the guys that showed up were not the original ones. They came from another job earlier in the morning. They did a good job and were polite and did not damage anything. I received a 15% discount for tardiness, which I appreciated. However, I ordered and paid for two (2) hand trucks at $20.00 each. This crew did not have them, so I am due an additional $40.00 credit on my American Express card. I would appreciate this credit from Hire A Helper sometime this week. Thank you.

The crew did a good job packing the cubes. They were fast but did not use the furniture blankets we were told to rent to protect the furniture. Due to using the pods that I used, I had to purchase blankets (24 blankets). I had shrink wrapped a couch and love seat when they said that was all that was needed. I would have liked to see them use the blankets under the couch that was packed on its side to protect the furniture from rubbing against the floor of the cube. I told them several times to use the blankets but they used only a few. I had to reopen the pod and wrap the blankets on furniture and even had to lift my love seat so that we could slide a blanket under it to protect it. I stayed out of their way but not the next time, provided my furniture arrives undamaged.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving

Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
