I had a very good experience with S & L Express Moving Services, and I would use this service again in a heartbeat. While the movers arrived about 20 minutes late, this did not majorly affect my moving schedule at all. The movers were hard-working, knowledgeable (e.g., about securing a mattress to the top of a minivan), friendly, and responsive. I was able on very short notice to add a dolly to my order, and the movers were kind enough to walk an oversized bookshelf that didn't fit in the van about 3 blocks to my new apartment. All in all, this was a great way to hire some extra help.

I hired S&L with short notice after another company canceled, and was impressed by how professional and attentive the company's representatives were. They worked with me on timing and materials so that we were all prepared. On the morning of the move, they arrived on time, asked a lot of questions, and within 5 minutes got to work. They finished before they were scheduled to leave and my total cost was well lower than I would have paid others. I've worked with other outsourced labor companies in the past, but none matched the effort and respect of property that this team had when loading my home into the waiting POD. I strongly suggest S & L, and would use them again in the future.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
