When using Hire a Helper, through a moving company - you would expect that from their post they would send movers. Well, not the case.
It looks like a couple kids who were coming from a night out rocked up and in the first 45 minutes, in which one of the "movers" basically dragged everything down the stairs, ruined four pieces of furniture - with the other being sick on the sidewalk.
We stopped service after 45 minutes and ended up doing it ourselves.
Customer service has been dreadful so far, so if you're looking for people to actually move things without damaging stuff - I would look elsewhere, from the "moving company" to Hire a Helper.

Worth noting, our experience with the second crew was significantly better than the first crew. Workers dinged furniture and walls, and at times carried furniture in dangerous carrying positions. Based on the first crew, would not recommend without verifying that workers are experienced.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
