Our crew was great. They showed up on time. Walked through the house and started packing our POD right away. They had a good sense of humor and worked hard. Highly recommend!

We used them to load up the remaining items in our house. 2 guys, 100 degree weather, got everything packed in 1.5 hours. Never stopped to take a break. They were very courteous. I even asked if they would come to Florida to unload for us :).

I just purchased a condo that's on the second floor and I had a 16-foot container that I had packed with boxes and plastic totes. I was forced into placing the container on a side parking lot a lot further than I wanted to be from the entrance. I was told that the movers would be there between 8-9 and they got there about 10 to 9 and jumped right in, no complaints about the location or the amount of stuff I had. It took them almost to the minute of the 3 hours I hired them to get it done. The 2 guys were very nice, I was trying to help as best as I could, but I have bad knees and they kept telling me to relax and don't bother helping because they didn't want me to hurt myself. 5 ????? highly recommended

These guys were great! They called before 20-30 minutes before arrival, in the promised time slot. They were able to use their Tetris skills to fill up our two pods in a way we couldn’t have. :)

The two men were courteous, prepared and worked diligently. They were done well under the two hours quoted.
I would definitely use S&L Express Moving Services again and recommend others to use them.

Not willing to stay for full 2hours and were frustrated to try to move things around to fit. Not friendly or accomodating.

S&L under Lashaun Lashley in Bloomington, IL does NOT provide great customer service. The team of 2 people haphazardly packed my 2 PODs without consideration for using either the pads, straps or bands that I provided for them. You should see the picture of what my PODs looked like when I opened them up at my new location. Looks like things were just thrown in there. They severely damaged the front of my refrigerator by force fitting it along side my wood desk, and left gouges in my antique table top as well as dirt/grime on most of my dining room chairs. The list goes on. They would not provide any reimbursement for anything and pushed me off on HireAHelper for all warranty claims. And good luck on getting anything more from HireAHelper than $.60 per pound. Lashaun Lashley did not apologize for the work of his team and did not want to discuss it with me. He could care less that I might write this review. I'd stay far away from this moving service, if you want to call it that.

Exactly what you want from movers- nice strong guys who work hard and know what they are doing. Super polite, helpful and didn’t complain about having to carry out of basement. Got right to work. Didn’t try to overcharge or waste time. Highly recommend!

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
