S&L under Lashaun Lashley in Bloomington, IL does NOT provide great customer service. The team of 2 people haphazardly packed my 2 PODs without consideration for using either the pads, straps or bands that I provided for them. You should see the picture of what my PODs looked like when I opened them up at my new location. Looks like things were just thrown in there. They severely damaged the front of my refrigerator by force fitting it along side my wood desk, and left gouges in my antique table top as well as dirt/grime on most of my dining room chairs. The list goes on. They would not provide any reimbursement for anything and pushed me off on HireAHelper for all warranty claims. And good luck on getting anything more from HireAHelper than $.60 per pound. Lashaun Lashley did not apologize for the work of his team and did not want to discuss it with me. He could care less that I might write this review. I'd stay far away from this moving service, if you want to call it that.

Exactly what you want from movers- nice strong guys who work hard and know what they are doing. Super polite, helpful and didn’t complain about having to carry out of basement. Got right to work. Didn’t try to overcharge or waste time. Highly recommend!

Great experience! I hired two people for two hours and we loaded an entire 16ft storage container in that time. Hard working and friendly. I would definitely use them again!

S&L they are wonderful, efficient, quick and respectful of my furniture and the doorways.They are true gentleman, friendly, respectful. They are always on time and text when then are on their way with a eta.They work so hard. I would highly recommend S&L moving express.

Kenneth and Trent were fantastic help unloading our moving POD! They arrived right on time and texted me when they were 10 minutes out so I was sure to be prepared for their arrival. They worked incredibly hard and efficiently, and managed to unload the (tightly packed) 16” POD in <1.5 hours. They were gentle with our items and navigated them carefully up our stairs, which have a turn halfway. One item was damaged in transit (not their fault) and they let me know as soon as they found it, which I appreciated. They were friendly, efficient, and professional, and I would highly recommend their services.

Kenith and Trey were phenomenal Had a 725 square ft apartment, and they had everything in our PackRat in just over an hour! They were super fast and organized. Wish I could have booked you guys for the unloading!

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
