THE GOOD:
- These guys worked really hard
- They showed up on time
- They were friendly and determined, keeping their good attitude while at the job site
- They finished early, impressing me that they worked so quickly
- They brought an extra (new) employee and didn't charge for him, as a "trainee"
THE BAD:
- They started off taking direction well, according to a plan I provided, but by the half-way point of the day they were just putting boxes anywhere, which makes it very hard to stay organized and unpack later
- The extra/new employee was a mess; he didn't take direction or follow instructions and dropped things, creating a ton of confusion and slowing down the more experienced crew
- They took an hour in the middle of the day without advanced notice/coordination, and I wasn't sure if they were coming back; they responded to my texts, but after a delay and I was worried as I was on a schedule
OVERALL:
Please don't let the negatives stop you from hiring them--they did do a great job and, overall, I'm pleased with their service (which is saying something, because I'm never pleased with moving labor help). I'm only providing this feedback so that everyone can communicate openly.
I'd hire them again, but ask them to only bring experienced help or watch any new employees more closely. I'd also reinforce my plan a bit more.

The 2 gentlemen that you sent were excellent and very expedient. They packed our POD container so well and used every square inch of space to every advantage. They were friendly and courteous and surely a very valued asset to your company. Job well done with 5 star rating. Thank you for sending them to us. I hired Hire-a-Helper to help me move furniture out of my house. The guys were on time, very polite and efficient. What more could you ask for? Also they were very helpful in reminding me of the procedure after the work was completed to ensure I was charged the proper amount.
