I am happy with ASAP movers that I found through Hire A Helper. They got the job done, and even stayed a few minutes past the 2 hour time frame to help with assembly without charging me extra.

Juquan, my loaders boss, was great to communicate with, while Mal and Ken handled the loading of my freight trailer. Mal saved me a ton of money by maximizing the space used in the trailer and balancing load for shipping, while Ken made sure everything that needed to go - went! And they were fun to work with and a pleasure to meet.
They were acceptably on time, and effectively communicated their arrival.. They wasted NO time in getting to work and if it weren't for the fact that I've moved 1600 miles I would hire them again - no doubt.

Beware of this company. They arrived with three people and did not tell me they would charge for the third person until they had finished the job and were about to leave. It felt like a scam. They kept calling Hire A Helper to get them to change the bill. They did and I was charged almost double of what I had agreed to paid. They were aggressive and I left in tears. Thankfully Hire A Helper refunded the money after I explained the situation later in the day. I would NEVER use this company again. They made what was already a stressful day, a nightmare.
Unfortunately that sometimes means that a two man crew in a two hour window, is not always the best option for every type of move although it is our lowest rate provided.
Most city move-outs of a One - Bedroom, that requires a 5 story walk-up needs at least a three man crew, to finish in the two hour window provided by you (the client) or a two man crew, with a bigger window of time to finish effectively an efficiently.
If this was not explained to you, in a timely manner, we apologize for any inconvenience our services caused.
