Elite Haulers were supposed to arrive between 3-4pm, but did not get to the site until 615pm, over 2 hours late from the end of their arrival window. I had to return the rental truck by a certain time, and this delay made that impossible. We ended up unloading as much as we could on our own, and only had large items left by the time they got there. It only took them 35 minutes to unload (we paid for 2 hours), and while they did send an extra person at no charge, and they were nice guys that worked hard, it did not compensate for the lateness and poor communication (we had been texting/calling throughout the day, but Damon was not forthcoming about their schedule delays, or explicit about arrival times.) It was even suggested we reschedule for the next day, which was impossible. I do not know if this is a Hire A Helper scheduling issue (they overbooked them) or an Elite Haulers scheduling issue, but I would not use them again.

I am not one to write reviews, but I feel compelled after the AMAZING job Elite Haulers just provided for me. I had to hire them last minute (yesterday evening) due to my POD shipping container delivery window not being available until last night, and received a call from Elite Haulers to confirm the service request shortly after submitting my request online. This afternoon, I received a call at 12pm sharp informing me of their estimated arrival of 12:30pm. These guys have excellent communication skills, are punctual, professional and VERY hard workers. I’m beyond IMPRESSED!!! If you need to hire movers, I highly recommend you hire Elite Haulers. You’ll be grateful that you did!!!

The main guy was horribly rude. We would like customer service to look into this situation. He kept asking if he was done and it was barely an hour. He made it abundantly clear he didn’t want to be there. Gave attitude at every job we asked. He said he doesn’t work for anyone and pressured us to pay. We asked him to leave multiple times because of how rude he was and paid just to get him to leave. He was hovering over the person paying demanding she press the buttons faster. It was horrible. We want action taken as this person should not be doing business. And it feels like he stole money because of the pressure to pay and leave early.

The customer can prepare by making sure that all household pets and anything that can prevent the movers from moving in a safe timely manor are put away and that all entrances and walkways are clear.
What types of moves have you handled?
We’ve handled anything from small local moves, office moves, long distance moves. Pod load ups and unloads.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My personal favorite part of being a mover is the fact that you get to physically stay in shape while extending a helping hand. There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping someone who’s in need.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We practice proper lifting techniques, how to wrap furniture, ways to dolly items with out damaging furniture, and how to properly communicate when a item is simply too heavy or awkward to carry by oneself.
