They were friendly, personable and worked hard. It was a somewhat difficult move since they had to walk further than normal and the elevator was small. The job took 2.5 hours longer than I thought.

This calls for a thousand stars. I’ve never seen anyone so good at their jobs than the two guys who packed me up yesterday. Einstein could not have played a better game of Tetrus. Words can’t even capture what transpired. I had stuff scattered in the backyard, driveway, sunroom, bedroom, kitchen and living room. They did a walkthrough for ten minutes then proceeded to methodically and strategically load it up with the precision of NASA. I’m serious. I was stressing hard the night before because my timeframe was tight and I have a bunch of stuff. I tried to make my living room replicate the moving truck but my pile of boxes, ladders, chairs and you name it grew and grew. Thought it could end up with me giving away tons of stuff at the end unless every square millimeter was packed expertly in the truck. It was. It could have been a scene in a comedy where mobsters rob someone’s home, systematically take every single thing really fast and pack it perfectly in a moving truck because they were former movers. The owner comes home and finds one shoelace on the ground in the living room. It was freaking insane how good they were.

In terms of labor completed, the crew was excellent, and very fast, with unloading my moving container. They did help place and assemble furniture (albeit we had to use my tools for it).
They were not on time - but were very effective in communication when they realized the prior move to mine was running very long. I received a call before my move time telling me the situation, and since my Saturday was fairly flexible, we pushed my move start time back about two hours. They finished the entire move in about 1.5 hours on a late Saturday afternoon. Also, fortunately I had my own assembly tools because they left theirs at the previous job (had to return to continue that very long job). So, time-crunch people, don't sign up for the last slot of the day.
