When two skinny young guys showed up to unload my container, I had my doubts they’d be as good as the guys I had helping load it... and I was right. They were very courteous and polite though.
They guys in VA showed up with tools, a ladder, and cooler of waters - obviously seasoned professionals. These two kids had none of that. A ladder was used to stack items to the top, a ladder should’ve been used to unload as well, instead of pulling things down. I explained several times on the phone before the move that my items were packed very tightly, furniture was interlocked within each other, and a lot of care would be needed to unlock each piece. I specifically told them they wouldn’t be able to just grasp an item and pull, that it was likely nested around something else. But I watched them do just that... standing in the container and pulling stuff down from up high. Many pieces of furniture became damaged in the process. It was pretty disappointing.
They didn’t offer to assemble anything that had been disassembled in the other end. The other movers spent time wrapping moving blankets around everything. These guys just simply brought everything in as-is... didn’t unwrap anything, didn’t set up the bed frame, or screw back in furniture legs.
I doubt they even had tools to do so, had I insisted on it.
They were very nice though, so I don’t mean any of this personally. I just think they need to up their game a bit, and keep at it - they definitely need more experience.

We had some last minute issues that came up but Russ and his worker came up with solutions and the job came together great. Communication was very good and would recommend them highly as they both worked hard.

Young man tried to carry a box of dishes without holding the bottom. Box broke a several dishes were broken.

Our movers were top notch and we would definitely use again! We were skeptical at first when only one of the guys showed up but he quickly got to work and had another guy show up soon to help. They both worked hard to get the job done in the time allotted and were even SO strategic in making sure everything we wanted fit into our small pod. Thanks guys!!

The guys were very polite, and worked quickly. They arrived on time.
The only concerns I had is that they didn't bring a dolly to help with the heaving items and they didn't quite follow directions as to where to put the items in the garage, but it didn't cause any issues. They were very pleasant to work with. I'll be hiring them again in the future.
