These guys were awesome. They came at very short notice after another set of movers did not show up. They were quick, and polite, and moved everything up a narrow set of stairs with no damage to anything.

Hired Rubenies Mighty Moving through HireAHelper. Selected 2 helpers for 3 hours. 1 helper arrived and was very friendly and helpful but when I asked if we should wait for his helper he informed me that they weren’t coming. I called the main number and spoke with the boss who was very rude and said that I could either cancel my order or pay for 2 helpers but only get 1 as he was unwilling to adjust our payment. Cancelling wasn’t an option as our Pod was scheduled to be picked up the following day. My husband and I both helped the 1 mover and finished in about an hour. Regardless, we still had to pay the full price of 2 movers x3hours. This seemed like the token bait and switch by the manager who basically got paid for a promised service regardless of weather he followed through or not.
Update per HireAHelper’s request: I did contact HireAHelper customer service and after verifying the events with our helper they agreed that we should not have to pay for a helper that did not show up and credited us for the difference. I still would absolutely NOT recommend Rubenies!

My movers were fantastic! I couldn't have asked for anything more. They got my whole place loaded in just under an hour!

They were a little late and took their time. Very slow. I understand they were probably tired. We ended up unloading most of the truck ourselves. They were there maybe an hour. We were not happy. I would not hire them again. Feel like we were didn’t get what we paid for. I would not recommend them. They charge $39 service fee, for what I do not know. They charge $40 for supplies. I had my own dollies , but still charged.

The men were on time, worked hard, and did everything I asked of them. It was just a 2 hour job loading up a storage unit as well as coming by my home to help with some heavy cabinets. Great job!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Once we receive a request for moving help we will send you a text message confirming the the date, address, and time. The message will also ask for the following details: Loading/unloading of both? What is it that we will be moving? Are there any stairs involved?
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day we will confirm the moving appointment and show up at the original agreed time. Upon arrival we will ask you to show us what it is that we will be moving and give you an opportunity to explain to us what it is that you would like us to do. We will work as quickly and efficiently as possible to get as much done in the time provided.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
In preparation for moving day please consider how you would like us to utilize our time: packing, wrapping, padding, assembling/ disassembling, arranging/ re-arranging, or just simply load and unloading. If there are is any packing material that you have provided and want the movers to use please let us know.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have helped residence move in and out of houses, apartments, and storage units. Business owners in art shops, donut shops, restaurants, therapy offices, chiropractors, home health care service providers. We specializing in showing up when others don't. When your in a pinch we won't leave you hanging we will be right there with you.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I enjoy meeting new people and offering a smile in what can be a stressful time.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Moving is difficult but there are things that we can do to protect ourselves, our customers, and the belongings that we are moving. Our crew members participate in paid monthly training to help us be the best movers we can.
