We scheduled two helpers to help us unload our moving truck to arrive to our new home between 4 and 5 p.m., not only did no one call to confirm the job, we had to call to find out where our help was. We were told that the movers were on another job that was taking a bit longer than anticipated. Upon calling the second time, we were told that the other job was still in progress, but they were sending another person to help and then all three people would be sent to our place at no extra cost. Fast forward through two more phone calls and we FINALLY had two (not the three that had been promised) people arrive at 8:15 p.m. to unload our truck. We scheduled for the afternoon so that our youngest daughter and our animals would not be at the house getting in the way, well by 8:15 p.m. everyone was at the house so we had to contend with keeping dogs and a toddler out of the way while they were carrying things in. There was no apologies for the delay, the two guys cracked jokes while they carried stuff in, but being that they were 4 hours late, jokes were not welcome at that point. The professionalism of this company was profoundly lacking and their delay caused us to try and keep unloading while we were EXHAUSTED and three of us were injured during that time.

The two young men who came to help were respectful, personable, on time, and hard working. I believe they are an asset to your organization. It would be even better if they had arrived with masks and gloves in this time of Covid19 as it is expected and potentially allowing the spread of the virus.

Ron and his crew were awesome! While we had set up a time with them, we kept getting ahead of schedule and they were happy to make adjustments. This was especially helpful since we were dealing with daily updates about the COVID-19 outbreak and wanting to complete our move before things really tightened down.
The guys worked their butts off, completing the job in the allotted time, with great care for our stuff. The fact they were moving us into a third floor apartment didn't phase them at all, it did help that it was a gorgeous rocky mountain morning!
You can hire these guys without reservation, we would hire them again in a heartbeat!

They were familiar with the apartment complex because they had did a previous move. They did an excellent job packing the space and was prompt and courteous.

My recent move was a nightmare! After the initial big move I still had a lot of things in the house. I was under a deadline and had to have the house completely empty, so I called Hire A Helper at the last minute and they were able to get me set up with Abe Lincoln Movers with same day service. The two men they sent were not only on time, but worked hard to get everything out of the house in a tight time frame because I had rented a truck and it had to be returned by a certain time.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A professional crew in a timely manner. Last minute bookings can be near or far, but we will do our best to be there on time. We always bring moving equipment such as dollies and shrink-wrap.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Taping up boxes so we can stack them, disassemble beds if you like or we can for you, and being available at the location to direct us where to place your belongings.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved bookstores, jewelry stores, churches, apartments, houses, pianos and small deliveries. We are licensed and insured for the state of Colorado.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The experience makes moving anything a piece of cake! Our movers enjoy moving furniture and take great pride in happy customers.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Whether packing, moving or assembling - we strive for safety and knowledge. We aim to improve each day and regular company meetings keep us on track.
