The only communicate I received from Anytime Movers Inc before the day of my move was when I called your company the day before my move to make sure my order was on your company's books. That was a bit concerning to me since I've used other moving companies through HireAHelper and they reached out to me by email or phone to confirm the job many days before the move day and other communications leading up to the job.
The day of the move, the lead mover contacted me to let me know he would be a bit late to start my job because an earlier move ran over. I said that was fine and waited for the crew from Anytime Movers.
When the movers arrived, I discovered that instead of the 2 movers I had hired and agreed upon, there were 4 movers who showed up for my job. I wasn't happy about this because the lead mover never mentioned that he had effectively changed my order and now was forcing me to pay more for my move because he brought more guys. I hoped that by having 4 movers maybe my job would take less time though and it would even out.
Unfortunately, it did not turn out that the 4 movers sent made the job any quicker or more effective due to their varied experience levels that were very evident during the move. Even more surprising was that this 4 man crew only had one hand truck and one furniture dolly so only 2 movers could really effectively move anything at a time so why were there 4 on-site?
I contracted the job for 2 hours and with the four guys (a couple of which seemed as if this might have been their first move job because they took instruction from the other guys, which took time away from actually executing my move), my move took 3 hours total. I know from prior moves that unloading takes far less time than loading (especially because I required my bedroom furniture to be wrapped by the prior moving labor helpers). The company I contracted in DC was a 2 man crew that completed the loading of my moving truck within 3 hours which makes it very hard for me to understand why it took a crew of guys an equal amount of time to unload my things with double the manpower. Both apartments had elevators (no stairs involved) and the distance between the moving truck and my apartment was much further in DC than Colorado.
Additionally, we asked them to reattach a few cabinet doors from furniture that was unloaded and they weren't able to accomplish this task. At this point in the move, one worker sat the last hour without offering to take the trash out from the furniture wrapping. They were very disinterested in the job except reminding me multiple times that I needed to pay them and the procedure to go about accomplishing this task. The lead mover wanted me to add 3 additional hours to the move order to pay all the guys he brought, which I reluctantly pushed through HireAHelper's payment system.
When the Anytime Movers left, my husband and I discovered that the crew had just thrown some of the paper trash in the moving truck and left the rest in the hallway for us to dispose. We spent 45 minutes cleaning up the move mess that not a single mover offered to take care of for us, especially during the last hour where there was a lot of downtime for one or two movers.
While cleaning up the moving truck of the trash the Anytime Movers threw in the truck without telling us, I found out from my apartment's security guard that the crew also cleaned their car out of food and cigarette trash and threw it onto the sidewalk of my apartment complex before they left. The security guard is planning or has filed a complaint against your company. My husband and I cleaned up their food trash because we felt like it was our fault ultimately because we hired Anytime Movers.
Honestly, I'm not sure what the appropriate action is at this point but I want some money back. I didn't ask for 4 movers and adding guys did nothing to make our move easier and in addition the movers were unprofessional and left all the clean up to me and my husband without letting us know we needed to clean up or asking if we wanted them to take out the trash.
Horrible company, will never use them again and plan to warn all my friends and family against using them. I emailed them the text above and have yet to hear anything from the company.

Tremendous job, Vince, etc. were amazing! They worked extremely hard, were communicative throughout the process and made certain we were satisfied with all aspects of the move. Highly recommend and wish I could hire them on the other end! Unfortunately, not possible, we now live in Arizona.

Were very efficient, addressed my specific concerns about certain pieces of furniture, helped me brainstorm about where the heck to park, and took it in stride when I revealed that, yes, there were three long, narrow staircases to get to my master bedroom.

WOW! They were amazing! We had never hired help to move before, the guys that came where polite, friendly, and FAST! They unloaded a 16 foot moving truck in an hour and a half, to a 3rd floor apartment (up 39 stairs) WOW! My husband and I were very very impressed. They even helped us set up our king size bed. I will never do another move again without hiring help with the loading and unloading process. Anytime movers were amazing!!! YES we would recommend them and use their company again.

These guys stepped in to take over when another company failed to show up. Sent an extra guy at no charge to help catch up. Did a great job loading my POD in about 2 hours. I'm going to use them to unload shortly.
