We hired All Around Movers a second time to unload our third truck. They were fast, courteous and professional. They knew what pieces were antiques and treated them all with care. I would definitely use them again if I have need help. Thank you for a job well done!

Late due to breakdown. Arrived at 9pm. I had more than 3/4 of the boxes staged by the two pods and inside the garage when they arrived. Due to these guys being exhausted and lack of lighting to work at night they didn’t finish until 5:30AM. The guys were very conscientious about packing the fragile items but loading was slow due to the hours they had put in and lighting issues. They missed a grill and loveseat which again was due to exhaustion. I can’t fault the loaders. When dealing with the owner about these issues and a large scratch that happened on my hardwoods I found him abrasive and difficult to accept responsibility. I would hire these guys again but don’t want to deal with the leadership.

I am very sorry to say I would not use their services again nor would I recommend them.
The team of three men instead of four (as scheduled) were four hours late and did not seem to want to do the job. They came across as being over worked and over booked.
They worked very hard and did the best they could; however there seemed to be much dissension among them.
They had to work into the evening to get the job done.

Your so funny you knew we was going to be late we also stayed in contact with you until we did arrive you were also 2.5 hours away yes we only came with 3 because 1 guy had a funeral to be at to be a paul bearer at the last min when you book background check ppl we only have so many of them to use but it always amazes me that some of you ppl are always happy until you write a review how about saying something to me the 50 times you called me???

We hired All Around Movers to unload our 26' truck, at the last minute due to circumstances beyond our control. I had to reschedule once and it was not an issue. The team of 3 showed up on time, after working another job, and unloaded the truck in 4 hours, even assembling the beds!! They were professional, respectful of our belongings and wasted no time. I am certain that I will be using them again once we find home to buy and can move out of the rental we are in now.??

The crew was great - worked hard the entire time did a fantastic job unloading and placing boxes and furniture where I asked.
The scheduling was the problem- they were supposed to arrive between 5 and 6 pm but arrived at 8:30 pm due to a other move scheduled too close to my scheduled time frame.
I would not use them again.

Shane and David were awesome! In 2 hours they had my house moved into the POD. Very respectful of our belongings and very helpful with every aspect. I highly recommend Hire A Helper for any moving needs.

The guys that came to unload me in Gainesboro were awesome. They worked really hard and it was even lightly raining and I have a steep yard that they had to go up. I would certainly recommend them.

I own a moving company, and we contracted 2 movers for 3 hours with an arrival between 10 and 11am to help our driver in Hendersonville unload a truck. My driver tried to call the numbers provided multiple times with no response. At 11:59 I called one of the numbers which went straight to voicemail. At 12:00 I called another number and a guy answered and it was evident that I was his wake up call. Then he said, "We had a late night and didn't get in til 3. I just woke up, but I'm on my way." He called my driver to let him know he was 1 hr and 45 minutes away. I called HireAHelper to request a replacement who could be there sooner. Nothing came of that. Then the All Around Movers owner called me to tell me a story about how someone that he fired still had a business phone and is the one who had accepted the job from HireAHelper last night at 10:45pm without his knowledge. He said he was a nice guy and accepted the job and would be discounting us for his being late. They didn't arrive until around 1:15pm. According to my customer and my driver, these guys barely did any work and were rude. My driver had already been working since 11am alone. The owner of All Around Movers then complained about there being a small flight of stairs in the house and he said that the items were over 300lb and he was going to charge us extra. According to my customer, my driver had to direct these guys so that they didn't tear up the furniture or the walls, and my driver still did most of the work even after the two arrived. Then All Around Movers has the audacity to only offer me 10% off of a 3 HOUR JOB even though they only worked for 1 hr and 15 min. After speaking to HireAHelper, the All Around Movers owner offered 1 hr off, a $65 discount. At that point, I was willing to pay the 3 hr minimum minus 1.75 hours at their continuation rate. But after hearing how he treated my customer, the complaints about the weight and stairs, the fact that I was quite literally his wake up call, and the fact that he considered not charging the third hour a "discount" because they don't refund unused time even though it's 100% his fault that the job was less than 3 hours since he was over 2 hours late (and this is only starting from the very end of your arrival window), I requested better compensation. What I got was 50% off which I think is still too much all things considered. This company should NEVER be recommended to anyone ever. I understand late nights, but when my movers are going to be out even until 10pm, I call all my customers to request a later start time the next day. And my customers are NEVER the wake up call for my movers. I have had a truck get totaled in an accident and still fulfilled my customer's moves to their satisfaction with a discount as well for the delay even though these were unforeseen circumstances. This is unbelievable, unprofessional, and entirely unacceptable.

Let me be very CLEAR here, our companies time clock starts when we arrive and start working! We do NOT get paid for drive time at the expense of the customer but it sounds as if you run your company a lot different than I do. We have never been instructed by ANY "driver" on how to move anything. Im pretty well capable of doing my job description seeing as it is "my" company and "I" was on this particular job I can tell you that you are getting a lot of misinformation from maybe a "driver" trying to save his job? Hmmm idk but i do know that you slandering my company on hear say and you not even being at the location is very very unprofessional and down right dirty, I hope yall do come out a little on top considering all the or better yet lack there of moving skills but glad we could take time from our families and our wives to come volunteer our hard work for free and to pay out of pocket also just to help yall slander and dog MY company i get to pay for helping you drag my name thru the mudd on not even 1 factual event But thank you and im not even gonna give you the satisfaction and let you think your worth the time i have to write your company a review! Oh yeah and the thing that sounds almost like your trying to make us look bad, considering your company tore up a $5000 couch and the job only paid your company $4000? (Your drivers exact words to ME the owner of All Around Movers), is that your saying we didn't work efficiently and your driver had been working since 11am, ok the job was estimated to last *3HRS* if he had been working so hard since 11am and we got there at 1:15pm and we get to the job and it gets finished in 1hr and a half i really think thats proof enough with the time frames here that we did more than an acceptable and efficient job... Us working fast shouldnt be held against us nor should it ever be a target to compinsate for any other companies lackof "moving skills" your slandering my company when in fact we didnt break, damage, nor give any false job descriptions, no stairs and very heavy furniture in which i never complained just made it aware of that it was never in the job order which to me is very unprofessional and entirely unacceptable rather the other way around! Your driver did infact give us many thank yous and seemed to be very happy as did the customer so your only trying to get some money back to help with damages done entirely on your end. But we did infact offer a discount inwhich didnt meet your satisfaction so we agreed to what your requested discount was and when called back to confirm you had changed your mind only wanting us to do the work for free which you being a moving company owner yourself is really shameful and nothing more than greed and slandering only to take eyes off of your company and downright childish pointing fingers when we owned up to our mistakes and tried like adults to compensate for our being late. Thank you and we will be returning a review for your company as well God Bless y'all

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We send out a text to every customer (it may take a day or so but you will receive it before your move) it requires them answer each question as it’s very important! If we don’t immediately reach out to you please don’t get worried, we stay busy and it’s our promise to get every customer taken care of with with the respect and full attention on the items they cherish. If we can’t get to the phone if you call, plz respect that we are giving a customer our full attention as we will give you on your move day!

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Passion for what we do! A crew that will handle their belongings as if it were their grandmothers prized possessions, respect, trustworthy men that move really fast and the knowledge to get the job done and take every stress off the customers back!

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Have labeled boxes is a plus, everything packed and ready to be loaded, make sure we have a clear walkway to and from the truck (it’s a hazard and danger to your belongings and to the crew members), please trust we know how to load a truck and no instructions are appreciated.

The smile and comfort we see after a job is complete the stress just melts from the once tense customer to now a moved, loaded, or unloaded happy customer! Our number one goal is satisfaction and we strive everyday to make every customer feel this way

What training do you provide your crew members?

We have an in hand in the field training. We always bring a new guy of course he is an extra guy the customer does not pay for but what better way to train a man, you can’t teach moving you have to experience it. And to be a great mover you have to have passion and again you can’t teach passion you either have it or you don’t! We can’t see or know unless we put them inside the field!
