These movers were great! The guys showed up on time and were very nice. I had some large furniture items that I wasn't sure they would be able to move. Not only did they move everything I needed help with, they had time to move a bunch of things that I thought I would have to move later. Here's the really amazing thing: they moved everything in half the time I thought it would take! I highly recommend Samuel Services!

The two movers we had requested arrive half an hour late, and seemed a little out-matched by our move. They worked continuously, but somewhat slowly, and required an extra half hour over what we had originally paid in order to finish the job . This, even though it took only an hour and a half to load the truck (a much harder job). We felt at times that they were a little careless with our property -- leaving it unattended in common areas in the apartment building and handling boxes/furniture a little roughly. In the end, everything made it in one piece, but I would have preferred a little more care. I'd use them again, as everything was fine overall, but might look around for someone else first.

I would never recommend Samuel Services to anyone who has a large home to move or large and expensive furniture. I hired them to unload my truck during my move. My work order specifically said I had large heavy furniture. It also said that I wanted my beds set up. They dropped a $4,000 armoire. They broke handles off. Several pieces have large deep scratches from being dropped.They did not assemble the beds. Boxes were clearly labeled extra fragile.. crystal, Lenox, Waterford. They put them on the bottom of heavy stacks of boxes. Several expensive pieces were broken. One of the movers kept falling when he would pick something heavy up. It definitely was a job they were not capable of doing. They spoke Spanish during most of the move so maybe they couldn't read English. I should have known there would be a problem when right at the very beginning they were shocked that the truck was packed full. A four bedroom house fills a truck when moving. They may be fine if you only have a few light things to be moved but they definitely should not be used if you have quality pieces.

They were on time! Very prepared to jump right in and get the moving job done. They never stopped for a break and worked very hard. They were respectful and worked well with each other to ensure our property was packed carefully and not damaged. I would not only recommend them but I would use them again. Thank you so much for making our move a good experience!

Hire them!!!!!!!!! They showed up exactly on time, were exceptionally courteous, and extraordinarily professional. They fully loaded a 24 foot truck, to the brim, in 2 hours (in 100 degree heat) -- incredible!!! HIRE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Samuel Services was on time and worked hard the whole 3 hours we had them. They were careful with our furniture and mindful of our walls ! They brought their own dolly as well. They were also able to pack our 3 bed 2.5 bath townhouse into a 26 foot Uhaul ! Awesome!
