I’ve hired people through hire a helper before, and I have to say that these movers were excellent! They had a cancellation a bit earlier in the day, and had great communication to arrange a time with our schedule where they could come over quickly. They worked very hard, were careful with our things, and were unfailingly polite. Definitely recommend them!

DAMAGED MY DRYER
Although the gentlemen that helped us were extremely nice we did experience a major problem. During the move I had rented an appliance dolly so that they would use to move my washer and dryer. The did not use it and while taking my dryer out of our apartment and down the stairs they used a normal dolly used for boxes in doing so one of the two guys left the guy working the dolly alone and he ended up dropping or banging our dryer in such a manner that it heavily dented it. Fast forward a few days when we used our dryer we started hearing a scratching noise coming from it we were unsure what it was and disregarded it until today. We decided to take the dryer apart and discovered that drum covered had been heavily scarped due to the damage from the dent they created! These guys were nice don’t get me wrong but make sure you monitor them like a hawk so that this doesn’t happen to you l. I took my eyes off them for a minute and I just heard my appliance crashing and my year old $800 washer was now messed up.

The two men were on time, in fact they were early. They worked well together to unload the POD. They placed the furniture where I wanted it. There was time left so I had them help me with my storage, they loaded my truck, and then helped me unload it. They were very respectful of my furniture and boxes.
