I hired this company to unload a truck in Hoston TX with my driver. All went well, until the end. As i was trying to release the money for payment the head man on site tried to force me to write a review on the spot. They even block my driver and truck to prevent him from leaving if i did not write a review. He did not have problem with payment because the money was release as soon the he told me the job was completed. I have use Hire A helper all over the US and never had a demand for review like this.
I will not use them again and I will encourage everyone to be cautious using their services.
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention some serious concerns regarding Larry P, the owner of Rainbow Movers, a moving company based in New York.
It has come to our attention that companies like Rainbow Movers may engage in deceptive practices, including posing as customers to gain insights about their competitors. This tactic allows them to undermine the ratings of top companies in the industry by submitting dishonest reviews. They have been known to mislead not only their customers but also other moving companies as part of a strategy to evade responsibility for any issues that arise during a job.
To illustrate this point, we recently completed a move for a customer named Sara, who was extremely satisfied with our service and offered to write us a glowing review. Additionally, she generously tipped our four team members $100 each. Unfortunately, problems arose when we attempted to close out the order and request the review from Larry P, who was not present during the job and had no knowledge of our work.
During our conversation, Larry became unreasonably loud and aggressive. Despite efforts to de-escalate the situation from his driver, who remarked, “What’s wrong with you, Larry? We’re having a good day,” Patterson continued to shout obscenities and belittle our team. It was both uncalled for and disrespectful, especially given that we had just provided excellent service to one of his clients.
This treatment is unacceptable, particularly when we had a customer who was eager to leave us a five-star review. Larry P's conduct demonstrates a level of unprofessionalism that is concerning and appears to be a recurring theme, as indicated by his reviews.
In light of these events, we urge HireAHelper to take immediate action to prevent such behavior from affecting other moving companies in the future. Allowing third-party moving companies to review contracted services creates a significant conflict of interest.
We kindly remind everyone that our request for reviews is solely to gather honest feedback based on the quality of our work, and we hope that HireAHelper can help uphold the integrity of this process.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Upon booking, we will provide you with a detailed itinerary of our services and ensure that we have all the necessary information to execute the move smoothly. Our team of experienced movers will arrive promptly on the day of the move, equipped with all the necessary tools and supplies. We will handle your belongings with care and ensure that they are safely transported to your new location. If there are any unexpected situations or last-minute changes, we will work with you to find the best solution.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
. Our team will take extra care with fragile items and ensure they are properly wrapped and secured during transport. We will also provide any necessary disassembly/reassembly of items, as well as placement of items in your new location. Throughout the process, our team will communicate with you and address any concerns or questions you may have. Our goal is to make your moving day as stress-free and efficient as possible.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Label all boxes clearly with their contents and the room they belong in. This will help your movers (or yourself) to quickly deliver the boxes to the appropriate room. Additionally, make sure furniture is disassembled as much as possible. Remove drawers and shelves, unscrew legs, and pack any loose pieces in labeled boxes or bags. It's also a good idea to have all your moving supplies (packing tape, bubble wrap, and scissors) in a designated area, so they are easily accessible when needed.

My favorite part about being a mover is helping and being part our customers transitioning period in to a new home and new life.
