We had two movers come, they were nice but were not professional. They took off our moving blankets and struggled to find the apartment even with exact location pin and given the street. They weren’t careful, bumped walls leaving multiple scuff marks and knocked off a handle from a hall closet AND were moving slow. The door handle they knocked off was damaged along with door scuffed, they attempted to fix it but could not. One kept complaining of how tired she was and that it was her first day on the job. She was upstairs moving boxes around rather than getting them from the truck. We had to help them get stuff off the truck to get it completed in time. It did not appear that they were professional movers in their standards and more of “helpers”. Again they were kind people but we are very disappointed in the service we got. We did not even trust them to move our fragile items from our car so we did that ourselves after they left. One mover had to return multiple times after forgetting things. At the end the manager called to ask about a release that was already filled out previously.

It was suppose to be two men but only one showed up and then he showed up late. I have specific orders he didn’t follow he put my items on the street and didn’t listen to any directions I gave he asked me to close out my tab and still charged me for the job under the table pocketing money .
He made this move more horrifying than it already was!
Then he apologized for misunderstanding me but didn’t not try to fix anything that he messed up!
The second guy showed up two hours late and tried to take down my trampoline didn’t try to fix it just left it like that

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Reed and his team were able to come out next day to help us pack our POD. They arrived within the timeframe provided and called when they were approximately 30 minutes out. They worked super efficiently and were able to get our POD filled within 4 hours. Reed is an EXPERT at filling these PODs - he was able pack everything in tightly and carefully. He took extra care in covering and wrapping our furniture to ensure it wouldn’t be scratched or dented in transit. The team was incredibly personable and professional. I will, without a doubt, be hiring them to unload our POD when we move into our new house.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You will have great communication with the company. You'll receive top of the line dedicated Movers to help you professionally load your, pod containers, rental truck, semi-truck trailer or unloading help. We make sure customer receives 100% satisfaction.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You will receive a phone call or text message the day before the move. The team leader will contact you the day of the move to let you know the expected arrival time.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
We ask for customer to have all boxes packed and ready. If tools are needed to disassemble furniture, please let us know ahead of time.
What types of moves have you handled?
Prestige Movers handles local & long distance moves (we love long distance), commercial, office, events, same place relocation, evictions, and much more.
